Story
Pupperoni is a 7-year-old Dachshund with a heart as long as his adorable little body. This sweet, calm boy is the definition of easygoing. He’s happiest taking life at a relaxed pace—whether that’s lounging by your side during a cozy evening at home or gently trotting along on a leisurely walk. True to his Dachshund roots, Pupperoni absolutely loves to sniff around. Every patch of grass holds a new adventure, and every stroll is a chance to explore the world one scent at a time. He would thrive with someone who enjoys unhurried walks and appreciates the simple joy of letting a curious nose lead the way. Pupperoni has a gentle soul and a loving nature that makes him a wonderful companion. He’s past the puppy chaos stage and has settled into being a calm, affectionate friend who just wants a comfy spot to relax and a human to adore. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a big heart, Pupperoni might just be your perfect match. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.I am a senior dog that is eligible for the Senior 2 Senior Adoption Program!Pupperoni is currently Foster to Adopt while we help this gentleman out with his dental!
