Story
Hi! I’m Wally, a 7-year-old dachshund mix, about 20 pounds, and the slightly more charming half of this bonded pair (don’t tell Woody I said that). I come with a built-in best friend—Woody—and we’re looking for a home where we can stay together. He’s been my buddy forever, and life just wouldn’t be the same without him.I’m the kind of dog who loves to be near my people. Lap? Yes please. Couch? Even better if my bed is on it so I can supervise everything. I’m affectionate, snuggly, and if you ask nicely… I might even give you my signature smile (that is me smiling in my profile picture!).Woody and I love to play outside, especially racing around the yard together in our figure-eight zoomies. We also enjoy walks—walking nicely on leash is kind of my thing—and we’re both great with other dogs. We’ve had visitors and always get along just fine.I’m house trained, comfortable using a dog door, and I settle in nicely at home. Like Woody, I’ll bark when something catches my attention (doorbells are very suspicious), but I warm up quickly and am happy to make new friends once I know everything’s okay.Car rides are no problem for me, especially if I get a little help to relax. Mostly, I’m just happy to be wherever you are.I do need a home without children. Kids make both of us nervous, and we’d really thrive in a quieter, adult home where we can feel safe and just be ourselves.I’m sweet, food motivated, a little independent at times, but always ready for a cuddle. As long as I’ve got Woody and a cozy spot next to you, I’ve got everything I need.

Story
Hi there, I’m Woody—the older, wiser half of this dynamic duo. I’m a 9-year-old dachshund mix with a little grey on my face (I prefer “distinguished”), about 20 pounds, and I come with one very important feature… my best friend, Wally. Wherever I go, he goes too. We’ve always been together, and that’s exactly how we plan to keep it.I’m a laid-back guy who loves the simple things—soft beds, cozy laps, and a good nap (you might hear me snoring… I take my sleep seriously). During the day, Wally and I split our time between inside and outside using our dog door, and when we’re out in the yard, you’ll usually find us chasing each other in our famous figure-eight pattern. It’s kind of our thing.I’m house trained, leash trained, and I do just fine around other dogs. On walks, I can get a little enthusiastic and like to pull—I just get excited to explore! Car rides are okay too, especially with a little help to relax. At home, I’ll let you know if something’s happening—doorbell, squirrel, strange noise—you name it. I’ve got opinions! But give me a few minutes and I’ll be right back to being your sweet, snuggly sidekick. I’m affectionate, adventurous, and very food motivated (treats go a long way with me).I love people… but I do best in an adult-only home. Kids make me nervous, and I’d really prefer a calm, predictable environment where I can feel safe and relaxed. At the end of the day, I’m happiest curled up on your lap or tucked into my bed on the couch where I can keep an eye on everything. As long as I’ve got Wally by my side and a human to love, I’m a pretty happy guy.

Annie is a very good lap dog, but also likes to explore a yard. She is over weight and cannot clean herself.I have had her around all 7 of my grandkids, our 2 cats and 3 other dogs and she behaved amazingly! I love her so much, but I can no longer care for her.She was my husband's dog. He passed away recently along with our 'alpha' dog and then we lost our home.

Story
Greetings, Muggles! My name is Sphynxee, but around here they sometimes call me Dobby's long-lost cousin because of my adorable oversized ears. Seriously, if you've ever wanted your very own house elf, I might be the next best thing! My foster family believes I spent most of my life outdoors, so the magical world of living inside a house has been a brand-new adventure. At first, things like couches, crates, and all the strange human routines seemed as mysterious as the Room of Requirement. But I'm a clever witch-in-training and have been learning quickly! I've already mastered my crate, walk beautifully on a leash, and absolutely love exploring every corner of my kingdom. I'm still studying advanced spells like potty training and figuring out which treasures are acceptable chew toys and which ones belong to my humans. Progress, not perfection! One thing is certain: I've fully embraced my inner princess. These days you'll find me proudly strutting through the house, ears bouncing, following my favorite people from room to room to make sure no magical adventures happen without me. I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and am great with kids too. Whether it's joining the pack for playtime or soaking up attention from my humans, I'm happiest when surrounded by friends. When I first arrived, I had some hair loss that made me look a little less magical than I felt, but after treatment my beautiful coat is growing back nicely. Every day I become a little more fabulous—and trust me, I know it. So if you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion with Dobby ears, princess energy, and a heart full of love, wave your wand and say the magic words: "Sphynxee, you're home." 🏰✨🐾 Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

🍑 Peaches & Cream 🍦 Some dogs arrive at rescue knowing exactly how to be part of a family. Peaches & Cream arrived needing to learn what that even meant. We believe this sweet girl may have spent most, if not all, of her life outdoors before coming to rescue. The world inside a home was completely new to her—things like toys, cozy beds, house rules, and even having people who loved her unconditionally. Since then, Peaches & Cream has absolutely blossomed in her foster home. She has discovered that being loved is pretty wonderful and has become a sweet, talkative little companion who wants to be wherever her people are. If you get up, she's likely getting up too! This girl loves to follow her humans around and happily serve as their loyal shadow. Peaches & Cream can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she quickly starts to show her affectionate personality. Having another confident dog in the home helps her feel secure, so she would do best with a canine buddy to show her the ropes. She is great with other dogs and does well with kids. As she's learning how to be an indoor dog, she's still working on potty training and figuring out which items are toys and which are definitely not for chewing. She's making progress every day and just needs a family willing to continue teaching her. When Peaches & Cream first arrived, she had some areas of hair loss that suggested she hadn't had the easiest start in life. With proper care and treatment, her beautiful coat is growing back nicely, and so is her confidence. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion who will follow you from room to room and reward your patience with endless devotion, Peaches & Cream may be the perfect addition to your family.
