If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out the application at www.woodscreekrescue.com. Filling out the application is not a commitment to an adoption and needs to be done prior to any further questions you might have or information you are seeking. Our Process is the following: 1. Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a "Meet and Greet" then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go. Want to see more of me? Check us out on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. We love having new followers.

Story
Frito lives for love, a true companion that has an endless supply of cuddles and affection for you. Frito is an adventurer at heart, but his favorite pastime is lying next to you or on your lap if you’ll allow it. Bonus, his love is not exclusive to his owner; he shows the same affection to all humans. Frito is always ready for play, a run, a walk around the neighborhood otlr through the woods, or a hike, and he will fearlessly follow you on any adventure. He has big energy compressed into a pocket sized body. He’s just a silly little meatball. He is great on a leash when you’ve got his attention, and behaves himself when passing other dogs and people. Frito has great recall in the house and outside. He is crate trained and potty trained. Frito has been left behind in his past and as a result he has quite a bit of separation anxiety. He displays this anxiety by whining and crying. As he learns to trust he does quiet down, but he would not be best suited for apartment living as neighbor noises will surely m lake him think he's being ignored and they'll be able to hear him. When you get home Frito is the happiest boy, jumping and running around, he explodes with excitement. Frito will need time and dedication to completely correct his overly excited behavior. Frito would do best in a home that is committed to his training him to be the best boy he can be. Frito LOVES kids - like extra loves kids. He is good with cats but does like to try to play so an understanding cat would be ideal, or the cat having a place to have some peace. Frito is good with dogs of all sizes, though his energy could be a lot for some, so a tolerant friend, and slow introductions would be best. Are you ready for endless cuddles and entertainment? Are you a strong leader looking for a lovable, active, pocked-sized sidekick? Then Frito is just the pup for you!

Story
How adorable are we? Hi I’m Joey. I’m a 3 month old male dachshund mix, around 11 lbs and I have two brothers and one sister. We are ready to go now and cute as little buttons! If you are looking for a small, devoted friend, you just found us... we will make the perfect addition to any family. Dachshunds are known for being playful and energetic but with these little legs we are sure you can keep up. Please keep in mind that small children maybe rough for us so be sure that if you have smalls that they don't treat us like a toy. We just want walks and love and play and treats... the list goes on... Hurry, pups like us do not last long! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kenneled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Meet Teddy Summer! He is currently 2 months old, 9 pounds, and we think he may be a Dachshund / Catahoula Leopard mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Teddy's video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3VVRE0YU2Y Teddy is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Eat, sleep, play, repeat. Teddy is living his best puppy life right now - all he needs is YOU! This adventurous little pup leads the pack with a bold heart and a soft spot for snuggles. He’s always chasing fun with his siblings, then cuddling up like a true gentleman when it’s time to unwind. Teddy is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Teddy's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/685f060f2f93888cc706a292 Please email Jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to the PNW, New England, Midwest and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! We have over 17,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai. You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience. We care deeply about making the perfect match between pet and family for long term success! Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We’ve received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. We’ve even had many veterinarians adopt from us! Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. Your adoption fee goes beyond getting a fully vetted pet, it’s also a donation toward our mission of helping to solve the pet over-population crisis in TX. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Hi folks, I'm a care giver to the senior population and I've recently met a couple of folks who have a young female Chiweenie/German Pinscher pup they certainly don't have the energy to keep up with. This handsome young gal is just about one year old from what I was told and has terrific muscle tone and is geysering with zoomie energy. She's still young enough to respond to training and she is very smart and alert, so will do best with someone with energy to match. Her current owners are in their golden years, and they unfortunately need to keep her crated most of the time for them to remain calm and sane, so I'm hoping this finds some new folk for Baby soon. So, I'm posting on their behalf since it's not likely they have any methods to rehome her without the internet.
