This sweet, young boy was found running the streets on his own. He had no collar and no microchip and no owner ever came forward to claim him. He is very friendly and very smart and only 13 pounds. We think he is close to a year old. He loves other dogs, cats kids, horses… He never meets a stranger. He will make a great addition to any family and would really love to have another playful fun dog around. He is fostered in Tennessee And will travel once his vetting is complete in a couple of weeks. His adoption fee is $399 and if he has to be transported out of Tennessee, there will be an additional $200 fee.

Current Location: Leonardtown, MD Meet Blitzen. A four month old black Lab Dachshund mix with a big heart in a small package. At about fifteen pounds, he is the smallest of his litter and happy to let you know he plans to be carried like royalty. Blitzen is doing great with house training and is pottying outside with no accidents. He sleeps through the night and settles easily. Leash walking is still new, but he is learning and improving each day. He is playful, gentle, and very affectionate. He loves being held and will happily relax in your arms. Blitzen can be a little shy, especially around loud or rambunctious kids, so he will do best with a calm introduction and a little extra decompression time. This sweet boy is ready for a patient, loving home where he can keep building confidence and soaking up cuddles.

I'm a female, thought to be dachshund mix (with something else) born around 10/27/25. Based on my current weight of 5 pounds I will likely be in the 35 pound range when full grown. I enjoy wrestling with my sisters and playing with the fun toys in my pen. I also enjoy snuggling and giving kisses to my foster family. I'm doing a great job learning to use the peepads and I sleep in my crate with the door open. I will be available to go home with my new family starting 12/22/25. Some things to know about puppy adoptions: I'm searching for... * someone who won't leave me home alone for more than 4 hrs, at least not until I am older. The older I am the more I can stay home alone. * I am looking for my forever home, not my for right now home. So as I get bigger I need someone to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. I am young and still learning. You may want to teach me some new tricks like sit, stay, etc. Professional training will help me bond with you.
