Story
Meet Henry! 🐾 Henry is a confident, curious little guy with plenty of playful energy and just the right amount of cuddle bug mixed in. His foster describes him as a mini bruiser who looks like someone put a Lab/Pit mix through a shrink ray! He settled into foster care quickly and has been showing off his fun, well-adjusted personality ever since. Henry absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine playmate. He enjoys toys, whether he’s entertaining himself or sharing playtime with his dog friends. He also walks nicely on a leash and does well using either a collar or harness. This smart boy does great in his crate and will even go inside on his own. He appears to be mostly house trained and is continuing to adjust to his foster home’s routine. After a day of playing and exploring, Henry is always happy to slow down for a good cuddle. Henry’s adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. If you’d like to make Henry part of your family, apply today at fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com.

Story
Meet Ginger! 🐾 Ginger is a pint-sized powerhouse with a BIG personality! This fun, energetic girl is always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s racing around the yard with Olympic-level zoomies, playing with her toys, or heading out for a car ride, Ginger believes life is meant to be enjoyed at full speed! Ginger is dog friendly and cat friendly. She loves playing with other dogs and can be an enthusiastic playmate, so canine friends who appreciate her energy would be the best match. She respects the cats in her foster home and has adapted wonderfully to life as an indoor dog. This smart girl is completely house trained, crate trained, and doing great walking on a leash and harness. She’s very food motivated and responds well to training. Ginger also loves toys and chew bones and is perfectly capable of entertaining herself when playtime with friends is over. Ginger enjoys being close to her people but has an independent streak, too. She loves outings, rides beautifully in the car, and comes running at the first hint that an adventure might be happening! Because she can be exuberant, vocal, jumpy, and a little mouthy when excited, she would do best in a home without small children. Ginger’s foster says she has been surprisingly easy to have around — and we think her goofy personality, tiny legs, and larger-than-life enthusiasm make her pretty hard to resist. ❤️ Ginger’s adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Ready to make Ginger part of your family? 🐾 Visit www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com to fill out an application.

Story
If you are looking for a professional true crime watcher and lap sitter look no further! Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend and, hey, so am I! My name is Buddy, and I am an adorable, incredibly affectionate Dachshund who is also a very young 7-ish years old. I would describe myself as medium sized however my current foster Mom thinks I’m a little chonky. I DO love snacks and am very food motivated. She has said that I am very handsome, stunning with loving eyes and love kissing her and giving her all the affection and kisses. I DO enjoy baths and love the attention that I receive on spa days! I have a unique personality, and nothing makes me happier than seeing someone reach for a leash and or lead to take me outside for a walk or just to play and roll in the grass. I am still working on my leash manners and I foresee in time, being able to be more patient and allow you to keep up with me. I have enjoyed roaming in the fenced in yard and smelling the roses, literally. I am happy to load up into the vehicle and go for rides. I love looking out the windows and sight seeing!During the day, while my foster folks are at work, I am happy to lay around my open crate in the same room with my foster sister while we wait for them to come home. I am learning to not jump when we get company or someone comes over due to my excitement and will, with patience, learn to be calmer. I slept in the crate at night a couple of times, but my foster mom got lonely, so I got in bed with her and my foster sister (she is 70 pounds! Talk about chonky!).I do seem to get along well with other dogs and recently went for a nail trim and there were several dogs there to meet and greet, and we all seemed to like each other and get along. The groomer and I bonded instantly, and I do make friends quickly. I am interested in the cat here, where I stay, but she doesn’t like me…you know how uppity some cats can be. I think my ideal human(s) would be either a quiet older person or a retired couple who could devote their time to me. I bond strongly with my special person and am looking for someone who can be home with me, and we can solve true crime shows together. I don’t care for sudden movements or loud noises and will be discerning about new people, so I don’t think that I would like to be around small children. I think that small people and their energy may be overwhelming to me, but I hear that’s typical for pups like me. I am a very smart boy who prefers routine and will alert (bark) when I want to go outside to potty or just get out of the house, of course I know that a treat is coming when I’ve been a “good boy”. So, what do you say? Wanna give it a try? I really need a bestie and someone to watch TV with. Please reach out soon!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. DOB 12-7-2024 Wolfie is a gorgeous Red and White Long Hair! This beautiful boy loves everyone, likes to play with toys and his friends. He is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart6 preventative injection, up to date on shots and is now looking for a loving home. His adoption fee is 900.00 and his transport fee is 165.00. HEARTS is our transport, they run every 2 weeks. It's the best transport and the only one we will use. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Babe is super sweet and adores playing with other dogs. She had come from a hoarding situation so she takes time to warm up to new people. She will only go to a home with another small dog because that is what she is used to and she LOVES playing. A fenced yard is also a MUST. Once babe decides your her "person" she absolutely loves you with everything in her :)  She would also do best with a home that dose not have people running in and out 24/7  as that can be a lot for her :) REQUIREMENTS:  MUST have a fenced yard,  MUST have another small dog   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!
