You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sadie – The Sweetest Sidekick You’ll Ever Meet Sadie may be the twin of her brother Sterling in looks, but she brings her own gentle magic to the mix. With her soft smile and go-with-the-flow nature, Sadie is the kind of pup who quietly wins your heart. She was rescued alongside her six siblings after being abandoned in a trailer park, and she’s been blossoming more every day. She’s not one to take the lead, but she’s a loyal little follower who loves being part of the pack—whether that pack includes people, dogs, or both. Sadie’s easygoing spirit makes her a great companion for just about any home. She doesn’t demand attention but happily soaks it in, always ready to tag along with whatever you’re doing. Sadie is joy in puppy form—gentle, loving, and always smiling. If you’re looking for a mellow best friend who will walk beside you with trust and warmth, Sadie is your girl. Sammy, Sadie, Sandy, Sylvie, Solo, Sonny and Sterling.  ~ How Can They All Be Siblings? Believe it or not, it’s totally possible! A female dog can be bred by more than one male during her heat cycle, meaning a single litter can have multiple fathers. That’s why this adorable group of siblings looks so different—some with long coats, some short, some with dachshund legs, and others with terrier scruff or shepherd markings. Based on their appearance, this litter could have a mix of Dachshund, Boston Terrier, Pug, Miniature Australian Shepherd, Vizsla, Cairn Terrier… and who knows what else! One thing’s for sure—they’re all 100% sweet, 100% unique, and ready for forever homes.         Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Hello My new name is Babe and I LOVE it!!!  I come from the 'hoarding' situation.  I'm not sure what that means I just know I come from a REALLY stinky house with a lot of other pups in fact there were 148 of us!!  I like the ranch it is fun and they give us spa days and we eat really good!!!  I'm learning to trust the humans!  They aren't like the ones I lived with before. My foster mom says I will never have to worry again and she will make sure my next home is AMAZING!!!  I am most comfortable when I have another pooch to cuddle with so she said she won't send me to a home without another pup my size and a fenced yard.  That makes me feel really safe!!!REQUIREMENTSMUST have a fenced yardMUST have another small dogVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rosa, a 6 month old, tiny 7 pound Dachshund. Rosa is a happy go lucky girl, with tons of energy and snuggles to go around. She loves other dogs. Is good with cats once she is directed to be nice (she just plays a little rough with them because she thinks she can play as if they are her dog friends) Rosa loves car rides. We are learning leash walking but still need some training on this. I am crate trained, and working hard on house training. If you are willing to be patient with me on this, I will learn quickly with consistency. I do need a fence as I am only 6 months old and love to run and play. I came into rescue to no fault of my own, but my mom said it was for my best interest since she was being deployed and wouldn’t be around to teach me the most important things as a little pup. Won't you give me my happily ever after! To adopt Rosa, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, and all the love you can handle!
