Story
This sweet, young boy was found running the streets on his own. He had no collar and no microchip and no owner ever came forward to claim him. He is very friendly and very smart and only 13 pounds. We think he is close to a year old. He loves other dogs, cats kids, horses… He never meets a stranger. He will make a great addition to any family and would really love to have another playful fun dog around. If you are Interested In Adopting, please visit Funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our rescue and how the adoption process works and find the link to submit the application to adopt. He is fostered in Tennessee And will travel once his vetting is complete in a couple of weeks. His adoption fee is $399 and if he has to be transported out of Tennessee, there will be an additional $200 fee.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Hello My new name is Babe and I LOVE it!!!  I come from the "hoarding" situation.  I'm not sure what that means I just know I come from a REALLY stinky house with a lot of other pups in fact there were 148 of us!!   I like the ranch it is fun and they give us spa days and we eat really good!!!  I'm learning to trust the humans!  They aren't like the ones I lived with before. My foster mom says I will never have to worry again and she will make sure my next home is AMAZING!!!  I am most comfortable when I have another pooch to cuddle with so she said she won't send me to a home without another pup my size and a fenced yard.  That makes me feel really safe!!! REQUIREMENTS MUST have a fenced yard MUST have another small dogVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Story
Current Location: Strasburg, VA Hello! My name is Lucy! I'm thought to be a Dachshund mix about 2 years old and I currently weigh about 31 pounds - though I am still working on getting my post baby shape back! I'm a sweet gal who enjoys the people I've met so far and I get along very well with the other dogs in the house. I especially enjoy snuggling and will jump up on the couch or recliner to lay next to people. I'm house trained, walk well on a leash and do fine in a crate though my foster family doesn't crate me anymore since I've proven to be trustworthy when left alone at night. I'm microchipped and current on my vaccines and monthly preventatives. I do still need to be spayed, which should happen the first week in January. I am heartworm positive so I need to receive that treatment before I can be adopted and should be able to go to my new home by the end of January. I’m looking for my forever family! Is that with you? If so please click “apply for adoption” or submit an application through the Adopt tab. Let’s get our family started!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marcella is a beautiful, free spirited 1 year old 7 pound Dachshund looking for her happily ever after! This little lady loves all people and all furry things too, but she is a bit much for senior pets as she doesn't have an off switch for puppy play time with pack. Marcella loves life and everything about it, she loves being held, playing with toys, and borrowing in blankets. She is working on doing potty habits outside, but is good at using peepads. She does have a submissive tinkle habit that subsides when she settles into her new home so a patient family is a must for her. This young girl can be an only dog or be part of a pack, either way she will be happy because she is the sweetest little doll you will ever meet! To adopt Marcella, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, dental, and all the love you can handle!
