Story
Travis is a three year old, 14 lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He's a Chiweenie! He is so cute with his soulful eyes, a right ear that flops over backwards, and his little mustache. Foster mom says that he is very calm, loves cuddles, and enjoys snuggling under a blanket. He has a playful side too. Travis will be timid at first, but he will warm up quickly, given a little time to settle in. Travis will do best in a fairly calm, quiet home. With love and consistency, he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Their story is one of those “this is why rescue exists” moments. This mom and her puppies were found running loose in South Texas, trying to survive on their own. At one point, one of the puppies actually fell into a drain, and the Donna Fire Department had to come out and rescue him. Thankfully they were able to pull the puppy out safely, and the whole little family is now on their way to us.
