Story
I adopted Maggie almost half a year ago, and she has been an absolute sweetheart, which is why this decision is so hard. Unfortunately, she is not doing too well with the new baby at home, but not because she isn't good with kids, we just haven't been able to give her the attention and time that she needs, she also cannot live with me in my new apartment, because of landlord issues. Maggie loves to play with balls, and is very easy to take care of. She loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs, and does really well around any kind of dog, no matter the size or breed. I just want her to have a good life where she is well taken care of.

Story
Harley is 5. She is a sweet girl that loves to be in someone's lap. She is crate trained, pee pad trained, and does well in a fenced yard. She needs a home with no other pets. She is comfortable with both men and women but seems to prefer women. She doesn't do well on a leash, she fights it. She is good with our 6 year old grandson, who visits periodically.

Story
Calvin is one very unique looking little dog. Definitely one of a kind. He is 1.5 years old, weighs 12 lbs, an we think he may be a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mix, and maybe with a dab of Chinese Crested. When he first came to Humane Tomorrow, he had a serious skin condition that caused him to lose a lot of hair, which is shown in a photo taken on the first day. He has improved a lot after a few rounds of medication and a good diet, but he still has a few bald spots. His neck and tummy continue to be bare. Those areas a pink with brown spots and brown borders. Calvin is a fun, funny, playful, affectionate, sweet little dog. He has the cutest little head tilt and frequent squinty eyed expression, like he is trying to figure out what you are talking about! Calvin loves to play with other dogs, but he has a rough play style and can be a little too mouthy. If other dogs aren't interested in playing, he will gladly entertain himself with toys, which he likes to bring into one of the dog beds. Calvin is a great choice to be an only dog, so he doesn't have to share his toys or his people's attention. He likes to stretch out on his foster mom's lap when she is watching TV, and he sleeps through the night in a crate beside her bed. He would love to sleep in bed with his person if allowed. He loves, loves, loves meal time and treats. He has an amazingly loud bark for his small size, so he probably won't do well in an apartment. Calvin doesn't live with young kids, but we think he will be fine with kids over the age of 6. Please submit your application to adopt Calvin at www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Stanley is a 6 year old, 11 lb Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. He is friendly with most people, but he is especially partial to men. He is also a little cautious around kids, so we are recommending no kids under 10 years of age. Stanley loves to go on walks and has great leash manners. He also loves to take car rides, but he expects to ride "shotgun" in someone's lap. He needs a little more convincing to ride in the back or in a carrier. He loves his meal time and snacks, so he should be fed separately from other dogs until a routine is established. Stanley is a smart little guy, and already understands "go potty", "sit", and "food" (his favorite word). The first step to meeting Stanley is to submit an application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.
