Phoenix is the sweetest and we love having her! Shes a small girl, probably 20lbs. She's potty trained, likes to play and chew on toys and sticks, and loves food! Adorable little 9-month-old ball of energy. Sweet loving and friendly. She seems to be a mix of chi-terrier-dachshund with long legs. A house fire landed this little girl in the shelter. Family had no where to go and no where to keep the pup. She and the family were safely rescued by local fire department. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
