Story
Hi, I’m Cal. I’m a 14-pound dachshund mix with a gentle heart and a quiet, curious nature. I may be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I’m affectionate and love being close to my people. I get along well with other dogs and kids, and I’m still figuring out how I feel about cats. I’m well-behaved, enjoy a calm environment, and I’m just as happy relaxing as I am exploring at my own pace. I walk nicely beside you on a leash and don’t need a lot of fuss to be content. I’m independent but still enjoy attention and will happily soak up love when it’s offered. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a sweet personality, I might just be your perfect match.

Story
Hi, I’m Francesca. I’m a 3-month-old chi-weenie mix with a big personality packed into my 11-pound frame. I’m playful, curious, and full of puppy energy, always ready for toys, attention, and a good cuddle session. I get along great with other dogs and kids, and while I haven’t quite figured out cats yet, I’m still learning about the world every day. I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being close to my people and soaking up all the love I can get. Like most puppies, I’m still working on my manners, so I’ll need a little help with things like leash training and keeping all four paws on the ground. If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion to grow with, I’m your girl.

Story
Sloan has settled in beautifully with her foster family and is thriving alongside her canine foster brothers and sisters and is ready to find her forever home! Sloan is a 7 year old, 18 lb, Dachshund mix (our best guess). She is as sweet as she is adorable and has quickly become a favorite in her foster home. Sloan is an easy-going social girl who gets along with other dogs, but she can get jealous at times so she will need an owner who is a strong pack leader. She is an affectionate girl whose absolute favorite place is snuggled up next to her people. Because she prefers a more low-key environment, she is looking for a home with no children under ten years old. If you are looking for a loyal, loving little companion to share your couch, your walks, and your heart, please consider adopting Sloan. You can apply at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##571035##
