In 2017, a friend of a friend asked me to give Lola a home. I was told that Lola had been living under a trailer to fend for herself. Today, Lola is happy and healthy. She is housetrained and hasn't had any accidents in our home. She'll sit by the door when she wants to go outside. She doesn't need long walks but should have frequent access to the outdoors. Lola, like many dogs, is sensitive to sounds like fireworks, thunder, and wind. I think she would be most comfortable in a calm and quiet home. Lola is smart and independent. She enjoys fetching small plush toys. In 2019, Lola had surgery for ruptured discs in her back and fully recovered. This is a common condition in dachshunds. She is fully vaccinated and I can provide the vaccination documents.

He’s a sensitive, sweet soul who thrives on being near his people, usually burrowed under a blanket in one of his favorite sweaters. While he’s highly motivated by snacks (he’ll be your shadow the second the fridge opens), his real goal is just to be part of the pack. He’s incredibly chill with kids and has been best friends with Gypsy for years. He’s a bit intimidated by cats, but he’s the type to just give them their space and find a lap instead. Puppy is fixed and UTD on shots. He’s mostly house-trained, though he has a bit of an "anxious bladder" if things get stressful. Overall, he’s just a gentle, loyal, and low-maintenance little guy who wants nothing more than a warm sweater and a spot on the couch next to you.

Meet Gumbo! We saved this handsome boy from euthanasia at a high intake animal shelter. Gumbo needed a tail amputation due to a previous injury. His recovery went great and he is now all healed up and loving life! The only thing he is missing is a forever family. At only 19 lbs, Gumbo brings a whole lot of fun in a tiny package. He is super playful with dogs of all sizes. He even appears to be cat friendly! He loves to be around people, especially his foster mom. You will know when he’s happy because he has the most adorable smile! Easter Bunny is deaf, though very loyal. He is also brave and smart. He relies on visual cues and hand gestures from his human to navigate the world around him. He is working on his separation anxiety due to his deafness. On the bright side, he is very calm on walks and is not scared of the loud stuff like traffic noise or fireworks. Easter Bunny does have a deformed limb, though it doesn’t prevent him from hopping around or getting on the couch. Easter Bunny would thrive in a home where his humans can be his hearing to provide him confidence. He needs consistency with the visual cue training.
