Meet Gumbo! We saved this handsome boy from euthanasia at a high intake animal shelter. Gumbo needed a tail amputation due to a previous injury. His recovery went great and he is now all healed up and loving life! The only thing he is missing is a forever family. At only 19 lbs, Gumbo brings a whole lot of fun in a tiny package. He is super playful with dogs of all sizes. He even appears to be cat friendly! He loves to be around people, especially his foster mom. You will know when he’s happy because he has the most adorable smile! I adopted Emmylou from the Williamson County Animal Shelter three years ago. She’s a four year old Dauschund mix, perhaps mixed with Beagle. She’s a cuddly girl. She’s accustomed to being right by my side, awake and sleeping. She’s happiest that way. She certainly has her playful and active side, but she’s largely into snuggles. I found out when she had her first vet visit that she was pregnant with a litter of pups when I adopted her. Unknown or unrelayed to me. They took care of it when they spayed her and neglected to tell me then. My vet informed me when they received those records. Not sure if that matters, but it is part of her health history. I need to rehome Emmylou because I moved into a third floor condo two years ago. It’s been really hard on her. We’ve had four incidents with a strained back in those two years. It’s painful and difficult for her. She needs a home on a first floor. A yard would be great too.

This basset hound/bulldog mix has already won over social media with his ridiculously cute face, tiny little legs, and larger-than-life personality. Luigi is equal parts adorable, hilarious, and completely convinced that every day is the best day ever. Luigi loves his morning walks, is already great on a leash, and is highly food motivated. Have snacks? Youre basically his soulmate His favorite thing in the world, though, is other dogs. He would absolutely thrive with a playful canine buddy and wed strongly prefer a home with another young to middle-aged dog. Luigis energy level is best described as feral bowling ball, which might be a little overwhelming for a senior dog looking for peace and quiet. Tina is a 42 pound, 9 year old basset-hound mix. She is an independent lady. She loves sunbathing, walks, and napping on the couch. If she’s in the mood, she’s down to cuddle up with you. She also makes an excellent doorbell. She loves to play with other pups. But she needs her space and downtime. So it is preferred that she be the only dog in the house. Or that her roommate be as chill as she is. She loves to meet new people, especially to lick them. But after an hour or so, she likes to chill on her own. Apart from occasional barking at squirrels, you can find her alternating between napping on the couch and going outside to sunbathe for most of the day. She does love her daily walks.
