His recovery went great and he is now all healed up and loving life! The only thing he is missing is a forever family. At only 19 lbs, Gumbo brings a whole lot of fun in a tiny package. He is super playful with dogs of all sizes. He even appears to be cat friendly! He loves to be around people, especially his foster mom. Nike is an 8 year old daschund mix. She is very affectionate and eager to please. She loves to be around people, including children and strangers. She loves walks, watching TV, snuggling, and sunbathing. We adopted her when she was six months old and she has lived with other dogs her whole life. She is not a fan of bigger dogs, but she gets along great with smaller breeds. She has lived with cats for a few years but keeps her distance. She would greatly benefit from a home with backyard access and/or daily walks. She would be a lovely addition to any family, including those with children of all ages. We are sad to rehome her but our work schedules require us to be away from home for too long and we do not have the time to give her the attention she deserves. She can be quite anxious, especially with loud noises (thunder, fireworks etc.) but she has never exhibited any aggressive behaviors. When she is scared or anxious she will hide under the bed and you may not see her for a while.

Chronic is a little sweetie. He loves to cuddle and play. He has been with his sister and literate since birth we got both of them together. They came as a gift to myself and my mother in law for Mother’s Day in 2024. Chronic just turned 2. He has had shots, however, he is due again shortly. I am a full time student, mom of two boys, a teenager who has autism and a wild 2 year old. My mother in law in disabled and I care full time for her on top of 4 dogs, including chronic. I wish I had more time for him, and if possible I would rehome all of them. But chronic is the only one that belongs to me. Please help me give my baby a better life, he deserves much more than I’m able to give him.
