Story
Meet Marley, an 8-year-old soul who proves that a physical challenge doesn't change a dog’s heart. Despite being diagnosed with IVDD about a year ago, Marley remains the quintessential "good boy"—a loving, resilient companion who is famously friendly with other dogs, cats, and children alike. He is a gentle presence who just wants to be part of the family, offering unwavering loyalty and a warm spirit to anyone he meets. Because of his condition, Marley is looking for a dedicated teammate who can help him with his routine. He requires bladder expression two to three times a day and takes his medication twice daily with his meals, which he handles like a champ. While he needs a little extra physical support, he rewards that care with a lifetime of devotion. If you have the room in your heart for a sweet-natured senior who refuses to let his mobility define him, Marley is waiting to be your most faithful friend.

Meet Mango – Nevada City, CASay hello to Mango, a 5-year-old liver Dalmatian with a personality as rich as her coat! This spunky, sensitive lady is a true homebody at heart—she thrives in a calm, predictable environment with people who understand her gentle nature.Mango isn’t your typical “grab-and-go” social pup. Crowds, busy streets, and large dogs aren’t her jam—but in the right home, she’s pure magic. She’s made amazing progress managing her anxiety (she’s even off her Prozac!) and blossoms with patience, structure, and carefully chosen dog friends—especially smaller, respectful pups. What Makes Mango Awesome:Knows all her basic commands Potty and crate trained (though she prefers snuggles on the bed!) Sweet, affectionate, and devoted to her people Thrives with a small circle of compatible dogs Things to Keep in Mind:Needs her personal space and routine respected Sensitive around children; best as an only child-free dog Prefers small dogs and doesn’t do well with cats, chickens, or farm animals Can be dominant, even with dogs her size Mango’s dream home? One with an experienced, calm human who understands dog body language, values quiet routines, and is ready to let Mango shine in her own sweet way. Location: San Diego, CA ***FOSTER OR ADOPTER****Say hello to Tilly, the sweetest “ghost-faced” gal you’ll ever meet! At 3 years old and around 60 lbs,Tilly is a lovable Velcro Dal who believes life is best spent right by her human’s side. She’s looking for a forever home (or a foster home!), where she can get all the love and attention she deserves.Tilly’s a social butterfly with people—she LOVES meeting new friends—but she politely asks that little humans under 10 keep their distance. She values her personal space and blossoms when her boundaries are respected. This playful pup is happiest with:Long walks & open fields – she’s got legs to stretch and a nose to explore!Sturdy toys – Tilly enjoys squeaker hunts, but tough rubber toys are her jam since they survive her enthusiastic play.Human company – Tilly thrives when her person is nearby, so a home where someone works from home, is retired, or part-time is ideal. She gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction, but her feelings toward cats remain a mystery.Tilly may be your new shadow, cuddle buddy, and adventure partner all rolled into one. If you’re ready to give her the love she craves and the patience she deserves, Tilly can’t wait to meet you!Her ideal home would be with someone who works from home, is retired or only works part time. Please copy & past the link below into your browser for our application:https://www.jotform.com/form/243374218477059Questions?Email us at: info@savethedals.org**Disclaimer: None of our dogs have been DNA tested, so we cannot guaranty they are 100% full pure breeds.**

Story
Location: Fresno, CA Say hi to Atlas! This cutie guy is about 8-10 months old and was found roaming the streets. No microchip, no owner has been found. The finder cannot keep him, as he is very much a puppy and tends to run over her little dogs. He is currently 35 lbs. We are guessing Atlas to be a blend of Dalmatian and Cattle dog, that equals adorable & sweet. Gets along great with other dogs, of course after a proper introduction. He is very shy and timid at first, once he warms up, he just wants to be near you. Atlas loves to run and his recall is pretty good. He enjoys learning things, is easy to train, he will let you dress him up, brush his teeth, clean his ears, and he is good at letting you know he needs to potty Stuffies are his favorite thing to destroy, otherwise he might get into other things laying around, he is still a puppy. Loves nice, hearty chews to keep him busy. Atlas is getting more comfortable with kisses and hugs. We don't think he was ever cuddled before, still somewhat of a foreign concept to him. good car rider Atlas will be neutered with his adoption. We do not know about kids or cats at this time. We think he would be fine with kiddo's over 9+ years old. Location: San Diego, CA ***URGENT FOSTER NEEDED*** Hi everyone, my name is Luxx, and I’m an 8-year-young sweetheart looking for a safe place to land. My mom and I are losing our home, and I need somewhere to go as soon as possible.I’m a happy, easygoing boy who absolutely loves to cuddle. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy just being a laid-back companion—no puppy chaos here! Whether it’s playing with toys, going for car rides, or soaking up sunshine during a cozy couch nap, I’m happiest just being near my people. My experience with cats and kids is unknown, but my gentle nature shines through in everything I do.I do have some allergies that cause my skin to become red and dry. My mom has tried very hard to figure out the cause, but I’ll need a new home willing to continue helping me feel my best. Because of this, I haven’t received vaccinations yet. What I really need right now is someone with a kind heart who can offer me comfort, care, and a fresh start. I promise to give you love, loyalty, and lots of snuggles in return.Could you be the one to give me my bright new future? Please copy & past the link below into your browser for our application: https://www.jotform.com/form/243374218477059 Questions?
