Story
Location: Bakersfield, CAMeet Hagrid, our gentle giant Dalmatian (85 lbs)! Approx 3 years old.Look at that face, how can you not love him? He’s a laid-back, relaxed guy who does things on his own time. He’ll let you know when he wants attention or isn’t by your side.Once on the move, he’s great on leash, does awesome at the dog park with other dogs, strangers, in stores, or even chilling at a restaurant. He is very social and enjoys all the attention that Dalmatians draw.He gave us quite a scare with seizures, but they are now managed with daily medications and he has been seizure free.He can be very vocal when he wants something, rather demanding actually. His new home will need to be diligent with not letting him "rule" the house.Hagrid is great with other dogs and could care less about cats. We are going to say older kids 13+, with his size he could knock over small kiddos. He is not a fan of being home alone for long periods of time , will vocally express his displeasure by howling and has been known to break apart a crate, the couch is more appealing than the crate. His ideal home would be with someone who works from home, works part time or even retired. If you have been wanting a Dal, he would be great for a 1 st time Dal owner, as he has been so easy to be around. If you love a dog with character, come meet Hagrid—he’ll win you over in his own way. Please copy & past the link below into your browser for our application:https://www.jotform.com/form/243374218477059Questions?Email us at: info@savethedals.org**Disclaimer: None of our dogs have been DNA tested, so we cannot guaranty they are 100% full pure breeds. **

Location: Joshua Tree, CA ***URGENT FOSTER NEEDED****🐾 Welcome back, Leroy! 🐾This handsome 3-year-old boy (formerly Domino) has returned to Save The Dals and is looking for a fresh start.Leroy originally came to us in June 2024 and was adopted into a home where he did well with other dogs—and even cats. Unfortunately, he’s now having difficulty living with multiple dogs, and we’re not yet sure why. To better understand his needs, we’re hoping to place him in a foster home where he can decompress and show us who he truly is.What we do know: Leroy is an independent spirit with a huge heart. He’s a total love bug who will paw at your hand or climb into your lap for attention, pets, and kisses. ❤️And if you love an active dog, Leroy is your guy! His absolute favorite thing is to RUN—he’s incredibly fast, athletic, and full of joy. He also loves jumping in the air when he’s excited and playing with his stuffed toys.Could you open your home to help Leroy reset and thrive? Fostering saves lives—and in this case, it could help us give Leroy the future he deserves.👉 Apply to foster today or reach out to learn more! Please copy & past the link below into your browser for our application:https://www.jotform.com/form/243374218477059Questions?Email us at: info@savethedals.org**Disclaimer: None of our dogs have been DNA tested, so we cannot guaranty they are 100% full pure breeds.**

In return, she will give you a level of loyalty and affection that is hard to match. Story
Location: Fresno, CA Say hi to Atlas! This cutie guy is about 8-10 months old and was found roaming the streets. No microchip, no owner has been found. The finder cannot keep him, as he is very much a puppy and tends to run over her little dogs. He is currently 35 lbs. We are guessing Atlas to be a blend of Dalmatian and Cattle dog, that equals adorable & sweet. Gets along great with other dogs, of course after a proper introduction. He is very shy and timid at first, once he warms up, he just wants to be near you. Atlas loves to run and his recall is pretty good. He enjoys learning things, is easy to train, he will let you dress him up, brush his teeth, clean his ears, and he is good at letting you know he needs to potty Stuffies are his favorite thing to destroy, otherwise he might get into other things laying around, he is still a puppy. Loves nice, hearty chews to keep him busy. Atlas is getting more comfortable with kisses and hugs. We don't think he was ever cuddled before, still somewhat of a foreign concept to him. good car rider Atlas will be neutered with his adoption. We do not know about kids or cats at this time. We think he would be fine with kiddo's over 9+ years old.
