Story
Location: Calabasas, CA Say hi to Lucrecia, nicknamed Lucy. This cutie girl is around 2 yrs old, petite at about 37 lbs, great with other dogs and loves kids, Absolutely NO cats, farm animals or small critters, she seems the as prey. She can be shy with men; she will need time to get to know them. She is so happy, energetic, loves to run, do zoomies, play with stuffed toys, sniff everything and play in the backyard. We feel she would thrive in a home with another canine and a fenced yard. As with any young dal, she will need regular exercise. A little on her history, she was found alone on the streets of Mexico. This has made he a flight risk, she will try to sneak out of any holes in a fenced yard when given the opportunity. Her new adopter will need to understand that she shouldn't be off leash. Story
Location: Malibu, CA Sky is about 3.5 yrs. old and a real doll. She is a happy and healthy girl looking for love. She is energetic, smart and very active, she likes to run around the horse barn all day long at her foster home. She will need a family to match her activity level. Sky is great with other dogs, cats, kids and horses. She really doesn't care for men, but if the man is patient and let's Sky come to him on her terms, she does better. Sky will take time and patience from her adopter. She is not a dog to be cuddled on, she decides if she wants to cuddle you. She does love to be close to her people however. Once she bonds with you, she will love you. She is not a fan of being petted by strangers and does not like to be left alone. Could you be a good match for Sky? Story
Location: Murrieta, CA **URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED** Introducing Otis, this stunning liver boy is 1.5 years old. Playful, busy, food motivated, loves to play catch with a ball or Frisbee. He does like to be a lap dog and will fall asleep on your lap. Otis is having some trouble learning how to share his toys with his canine companion. His companion is a deaf senior who doesn't understand when Otis gives a verbal warning, that he doesn't want to share toys/treats. He MUST leave his current home ASAP, as much as they truly love him, there is a young child going through chemo and the added stress of the dogs squabbling is not helping. Otis is very smart, listens incredibly well, just needs a new owner to work with him. He's been good with kids 14+ Sorry NO kitties. Otis needs a home with NO other dogs at this time. We do recommend that he attend some obedience classes, as this will help him learn to be the best boy he can be. Could you be the loving home that Otis deserves? Story
Location: Nevada City, CA Please meet Hope, this sweetheart is only around 1 yr, 5 months old and has had a rough start in life. She was abandoned on the streets shortly after having puppies and landed in the scary shelter. Once freed from chaos of the shelter, Hope began to shine. This little girl is the biggest cuddler ever. We have determined that Hope is bilaterally Deaf, but do not tell her that, she behaves like any other dog with full hearing. Her foster mom has taught her hand signals. In spite of her former life, Hope still has faith in humans. All this darling girl wants is to be loved. She has your typical Dalmatian energy, loves to run and play in the fenced back yard with her foster canine companions. Hope does best with dogs her size, NO small dogs. Hope is very interested in the kitties in her foster home, however she has not tried to bite/hurt them, but she will chase them if they run. We are saying no kids right now, simply because Hope is young and very rambunctious. She loves playing with toys. Enjoys tug a war with rope toy. She will pay lots of attention for a treat. She has the potential to learn many things. She’s definitely a Velcro dog, she wants to be always touching her humans. Hope deserves a home of her own, where her humans can shower her with love and affection. Hope would prefer another canine in her new home. If you think that home is yours, please apply. Story
Location: Compton, CA Introducing Jimmy Dogfa, he is the Dog Boss, not really but we tell him he is. Jimmy is about 2 years old, so sweet, affectionate, smart and an all-around good boy. He loves his walks, meeting new people, smelling everything and has been good with other dogs. We don't know if Jimmy has been around kids or kitties. So right now, we are saying no cats and kiddos over the age of 12+ His ideal home would have a nice yard for him to run and play in. He is good as a single dog or with a canine partner. Let's give Jimmy his forever family. Story
Location: Indio, CA Please meet Chance, this cutie pie is only 9 months old. He is an all-around great boy, good with dogs of all sizes, good with kitties and kids 12 and 16 yrs old. Not to mention a great cuddler. Since Chance is still a baby, he needs a bit of work on his leash manors and continued potty training. He is crate trained. He is smart and learns quickly. Loves riding in the car, chewing on bones and running around the yard. Chance is a busy boy; he will need a yard to run off all that puppy power and good mental stimulation. He would do best in a home with another young canine to help him exhaust that puppy energy or an active owner who perhaps likes to go hiking. Would you like to make some memories with Chance?
