ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Steffy (fondly known as Bella) is a Courtesy Post Only, and is not a Second Chance Dog Rescue dog. SCDR is  not  responsible for any ownership, behavior, health, and representations made by the poster with respect to this dog. You must contact her owner, Lisa Karmazin at karmadish@yahoo.com for further information.   ******** Bella, about 6-1/2 years old, is a loyal and protective pooch. She loves to run freely at the beach with other dogs. She is very good at following commands especially if you have a treat. She is food driven for sure. She likes to hunt smaller animals in the yard to keep her territory free of critters, and that includes cats. She likes to snuggle and will sit, roll over and will come when called most of the time.  She likes to play fetch and loves toys. She is house trained and will stay off furniture if you ask her to. She is not so great on a leash and needs some training there. She is good in restaurants and around other dogs provided they do not provoke her. If provoked she will lash out. Her favorite thing to do is to run at the leash free beaches where she can play with other dogs. She does not like dog parks for some reason and will just sit at your feet. She does bark at strangers passing by the front door and mail delivery people as she is very protective of her home.  Bella is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Her weight is about 46 lbs.  For further information or to meet Bella, please contact her owner, Lisa at karmadish@yahoo.com   All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  December 3, 2023, 2:33 pm

Story
Fostered in: Gardena, CA I’m Misti Blue and I’m a 3 1/2 year old female deaf Dal mix who is 55 pounds of cuteness, if I do say so myself! I’m smart, playful and want to be your best friend. My amazing trainer will provide two free lessons to a local adopter. My perfect forever home is a house with a fenced yard, no other pets or small children. I may be deaf but that never stops me, I'm being trained with hand signals. I love my training sessions and have learned very quickly. I’m crossing my paws that I’ll get to meet you soon! Misti Blue has been with us for quite some time and longs for a home of her own. Will it be with you? Please complete our Adoption Questionnaire at: https://savethedals.org/adoption/ Return your completed questionnaire by email to info@savethedals.org.
