Story
Location: Nevada City, CA Please welcome back Mango. This darling 4 yr. old liver gal found herself back with Save The Dals through NO fault of her own. She does need slow introductions to new dogs, but after that, they are friends for life. She's happy and loves running around the fenced yard, sniffing the world around her and chew bones. Mango has discovered she loves to chase balls and play with stuffies! Car rides are very exciting. She loves being talked to & will just gaze up at you. Mango has been wonderful with the older children in her foster home. This girl is a major cuddler and genuine Velcro Dal. She wants to be touching you at all times. If you want personal space, she is not the girl for you. Mango is a very good girl when it comes to taking a bath & having her nails done. Her only fault, she doesn't like to share her food, so she simply eats in her crate. NO cats. Would you like a little chocolate covered Mango of your own? Story
Location: Fresno, CA Say hi to Atlas! This cutie guy is about 8-10 months old and was found roaming the streets. No microchip, no owner has been found. The finder cannot keep him, as he is very much a puppy and tends to run over her little dogs. He is currently 35 lbs. We are guessing Atlas to be a blend of Dalmatian and Cattle dog, that equals adorable & sweet. Gets along great with other dogs, of course after a proper introduction. He is very shy and timid at first, once he warms up, he just wants to be near you. Atlas loves to run and his recall is pretty good. He enjoys learning things, is easy to train, he will let you dress him up, brush his teeth, clean his ears, and he is good at letting you know he needs to potty Stuffies are his favorite thing to destroy, otherwise he might get into other things laying around, he is still a puppy. Loves nice, hearty chews to keep him busy. Atlas is getting more comfortable with kisses and hugs. We don't think he was ever cuddled before, still somewhat of a foreign concept to him. good car rider Atlas will be neutered with his adoption. We do not know about kids or cats at this time. We think he would be fine with kiddo's over 9+ years old. Story
Location: Sylmar, CA ****FOSTER HOME NEEDED URGENTLY***** Introducing Caesar, he just turned 8 years young and a big boy at 72 lbs. Caesar was surrendered to the shelter in December 2022 and adopted. Those people didn't really do much with him, then they rehomed him to a very kind elderly lady about 5 months ago. Sadly, the former owners never mentioned that Caesar has a very high prey drive for small animals, cats, chickens, ducks, etc.. The elderly caregiver lives on a farm. There have been some unfortunate losses of a couple of those small animals and now Caesar has to leave. Caesar is loving, affectionate, active, loves toys, especially chew toys, and does great on walks. He can be slowly introduced to other dogs his size, he does get amped up but after spending extended periods with larger dogs under supervision, he does calm down. He would rather just be with his humans. Caesar loves his humans, even strangers, he is a very good boy and love the attention. He would do fine with teenagers 15+ Could you be the home that gives this sweet boy stability? Location: Peoria, AZ Lara is just 1 yr old, an affectionate, loving, silly and beyond full of energy girl. The resident dog in her current foster home in NOT happy with Lara. She tends to steal food, toys, treats and this causes altercations. This little girl is so loving and sweet but just too much puppy. Lara loves to run, play and chase with another dog but she is a chow hound who gobbles her food & steals other dog's food, so she must eat food or chew bones in her crate. She is a master hunter for all little critters, so NO cats. We are saying no young children at this time, simply because Lara is all puppy & exuberant. Can you give this little peanut a temp place? Kash and Kylie are a bonded pair. Kash is an AKC 4 yo liver male. Kylie is a 6 yo b/w female. They came from a loving home with small children and had a litter together. Both will be altered prior to adoption. They have adjusted well, and enjoy playing with the other Dals. She is more timid and takes time to warm up, but once she does, she's all over the boys for attention. Kash has a big presence when he enters the room smiling wide and wiggling his bum. He always greets you with a huge smile. Both are very loving, and love having their bums scratched. Kylie will dance a jig for you which is very entertaining.

This little twinkle toes is all of 40 lbs, but will delight even the most serious with her delicate hugs & kisses. She's had a few litters, but that's over now. She gets overwhelmed with other dogs, so we think it best that she be the only baby. She demands attention in the sweetest way and will get it too. She is content to sit near/next to you, follows you everywhere true to the breed, and will love you upon site.
