Meet Mango – Nevada City, CASay hello to Mango, a 5-year-old liver Dalmatian with a personality as rich as her coat! This spunky, sensitive lady is a true homebody at heart—she thrives in a calm, predictable environment with people who understand her gentle nature.Mango isn’t your typical “grab-and-go” social pup. Crowds, busy streets, and large dogs aren’t her jam—but in the right home, she’s pure magic. She’s made amazing progress managing her anxiety (she’s even off her Prozac!) and blossoms with patience, structure, and carefully chosen dog friends—especially smaller, respectful pups. What Makes Mango Awesome:Knows all her basic commands Potty and crate trained (though she prefers snuggles on the bed!) Sweet, affectionate, and devoted to her people Thrives with a small circle of compatible dogs Things to Keep in Mind:Needs her personal space and routine respected Sensitive around children; best as an only child-free dog Prefers small dogs and doesn’t do well with cats, chickens, or farm animals Can be dominant, even with dogs her size Mango’s dream home? One with an experienced, calm human who understands dog body language, values quiet routines, and is ready to let Mango shine in her own sweet way. In the right environment, she’s not just a dog—she’s a loyal, loving companion who will steal your heart one cozy nap at a time. Location: Vista, CA ***AVAILABLE TO ADOPT****Say hello to Tilly, the sweetest “ghost-faced” gal you’ll ever meet! At 3 years old and around 60 lbs,Tilly is a lovable Velcro Dal who believes life is best spent right by her human’s side. She’s looking for a forever home (or a foster home!), where she can get all the love and attention she deserves.Tilly’s a social butterfly with people—she LOVES meeting new friends—but she politely asks that little humans under 10 keep their distance. She values her personal space and blossoms when her boundaries are respected. This playful pup is happiest with:Long walks & open fields – she’s got legs to stretch and a nose to explore!Sturdy toys – Tilly enjoys squeaker hunts, but tough rubber toys are her jam since they survive her enthusiastic play.Human company – Tilly thrives when her person is nearby, so a home where someone works from home, is retired, or part-time is ideal. She gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction, but her feelings toward cats remain a mystery.Tilly may be your new shadow, cuddle buddy, and adventure partner all rolled into one. If you’re ready to give her the love she craves and the patience she deserves, Tilly can’t wait to meet you!Her ideal home would be with someone who works from home, is retired or only works part time. Please copy & past the link below into your browser for our application:https://www.jotform.com/form/243374218477059Questions?Email us at: info@savethedals.org**Disclaimer: None of our dogs have been DNA tested, so we cannot guaranty they are 100% full pure breeds.**

Story
Location: Fresno, CA Say hi to Atlas! This cutie guy is about 8-10 months old and was found roaming the streets. No microchip, no owner has been found. The finder cannot keep him, as he is very much a puppy and tends to run over her little dogs. He is currently 35 lbs. We are guessing Atlas to be a blend of Dalmatian and Cattle dog, that equals adorable & sweet. Gets along great with other dogs, of course after a proper introduction. He is very shy and timid at first, once he warms up, he just wants to be near you. Atlas loves to run and his recall is pretty good. He enjoys learning things, is easy to train, he will let you dress him up, brush his teeth, clean his ears, and he is good at letting you know he needs to potty Stuffies are his favorite thing to destroy, otherwise he might get into other things laying around, he is still a puppy. Loves nice, hearty chews to keep him busy. Atlas is getting more comfortable with kisses and hugs. We don't think he was ever cuddled before, still somewhat of a foreign concept to him. good car rider Atlas will be neutered with his adoption. We do not know about kids or cats at this time. We think he would be fine with kiddo's over 9+ years old. Location: San Diego, CA ***URGENT FOSTER NEEDED*** Hi everyone, my name is Luxx, and I’m an 8-year-young sweetheart looking for a safe place to land. My mom and I are losing our home, and I need somewhere to go as soon as possible.I’m a happy, easygoing boy who absolutely loves to cuddle. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy just being a laid-back companion—no puppy chaos here! Whether it’s playing with toys, going for car rides, or soaking up sunshine during a cozy couch nap, I’m happiest just being near my people. My experience with cats and kids is unknown, but my gentle nature shines through in everything I do.I do have some allergies that cause my skin to become red and dry. My mom has tried very hard to figure out the cause, but I’ll need a new home willing to continue helping me feel my best. Because of this, I haven’t received vaccinations yet. What I really need right now is someone with a kind heart who can offer me comfort, care, and a fresh start. This little twinkle toes is all of 40 lbs, but will delight even the most serious with her delicate hugs & kisses. She's had a few litters, but that's over now. She gets overwhelmed with other dogs, so we think it best that she be the only baby. She demands attention in the sweetest way and will get it too. She is content to sit near/next to you, follows you everywhere true to the breed, and will love you upon site.

Story
How Godzilla Marie arrived: Godzilla Marie was brought in as a stray on November 29, 2025. Why Godzilla Marie is the one for you:Meet Godzilla Marie, a dog with a personality so big she is practically a Queen of the Monsters - the snuggle monsters, that is! Don't let the name fool you, the only thing she is looking to destroy is a bag of treats or a boring afternoon. She bonds with people almost instantly and is Godzilla-sized in her affection, often trying to climb into your lap for a massive cuddle session. While she may be deaf, she doesn't let that silence her spirit. She navigates the world with monstrous enthusiasm, responding beautifully to hand signals, body language and most importantly, snacks. Her deafness actually gives her a superpower because she isn't bothered by loud city noises or barking neighbors, keeping her focus entirely on her favorite person. She can be somewhat high-energy and jumpy when she is excited to go for a walk, but she is easily redirected with a tasty treat or a fun toy. Once she is on the move, she is a force of nature who loves to sniff every leaf and greet every new friend. This playful girl is a total socialite and has shown colossal friendliness toward other dogs. She has done great on buddy walks and loves the city-smashing fun of a trip to the dog park. At home, she is already crate trained and is a legend at not getting into things she shouldn't. Godzilla Marie thrives on play, structure and plenty of monster hugs. If you are ready for adventure with a dog who is larger than life, Godzilla Marie is ready to roar! When you come to meet her, please bring a leash and collar so you can take this joyful girl home and start your epic journey together. At SDHS:Godzilla Marie has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 54 Age: 2yrs 5mths 3wks
