Story
We hope you've been packing that college fund, because this super smart girl is bound for an Ivy League school. Weighing in at a chonkolicious 60 pounds, most of which are her brains, Bonita will wow you with her comprehension and communication skills. If you want her to come, sit, or roll over, all you have to do is ask. And she's so friendly and polite, always happy to shake hands with a new friend. Come meet Bonita! Here's some notes from her foster: Bonita is an absolute delight. She is very sweet and very bright. Like, very bright. She showed up already knowing several commands, including sit, stay, paw, down, and roll over, and she can identify them all by both spoken word and hand sign. She picked up twirl and bed in about fifteen minutes each. She is incredibly intuitive and teachable, which is a guardian's dream. She's also a goof around the house. She loves to gallop up and down the hallway for a game of fetch, hold a toy up in the air as she wriggles around on her back, and receive as many belly and face rubs as a person can give. Bonita's energy level is right in the goldilocks zone. She is able-bodied and will gladly go on as long of a walk as you'd like, but at home she never acts out as a means of releasing pent up energy. In fact, she will gladly spend plenty of time snoozing, and she is so good at snoring that she'll do it with her eyes open, staring right at you. She is also fully potty trained and shows no signs of separation anxiety. Really, Bonita is one of those dogs who can do it all. She's as happy napping through a TV marathon or playing with a toy as she is exploring the neighborhood or taking a ride in the car. She's smart and loving and an all-around joy of a pet.

Story
Lucifer was spotted about 2 years ago from an understaffed shelter that said he was found abandoned roaming in a field. He was left in the kennel at the shelter for way too long at a time which made him a tad needy for attention at first. Over time, my elder dog and the two cats my partner brought in our move, are struggling with Luci’s energy and rough housing. He’s never done anything destructive to people property, with the glaring exception of food, trash, and COFFEE. He loves coffee. Luci-goose has a hard time outside the house. He doesn’t always feel as comfy w people or animals on walks, or in the park. Until he gets some good training, it’s a good idea for him to stay on leash outside. When meets people or animals at home, he has no issue with anyone and is his big, goofy, sweet excitable self. Goose is all about ball. He’s extremely food and ball motivated making it easy to train and expend energy. He’s the goodest boy and deserves a good home.

Story
Sheila, at 27 lbs and 2 years old, is a beautiful, clever girl that is fine with children and is ready to be your partner for all things fun and athletic. She is a Kelpie mix which equates to an intelligent dog (you can see this in her face!) with a high prey drive who will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Don't have a ranch with sheep? No problem, as Sheila would love to become your running partner or participate in dog sports and training classes. Want to hike 20 miles next weekend? Sheila is your girl! As with many herding breeds, Sheila may need a slow introduction with other dogs and is active, loyal, and enjoys a busy lifestyle. This girl is up for adventure and will be a very loyal companion. She's also great with older kids and very affectionate. She is available for foster or adoption, please come meet this wonderful girl.

Story
Pazza is a loving and loyal companion. She lost her person, was taken in by a friend ... needed a place, a safe haven, so here she is at Milo! Pazza is good off leash with good recall, her hearing, eyesight and mobility are good. A mellow walking companion, lays nearby in the home, has good house manners. She so wants to have a person again. Pazza is fine with other dogs, though would love being someone's one and only, she can share. She is affectionate and loves attention.

Story
Butterscotch definitely lives up to her name because she is sweet as can be! While shy at first meeting, she warms up and loves to come sit in her person's lap and absolutely adores belly rubs. She can be friendly with other dogs but is not a social butterfly. She is truly a people person and might prefer living as an only dog! Sweet Butterscotch already is potty trained, sleeps through the whole night, rarely barks and has shown no separation anxiety. She can however become overstimulated in an urban environment and would do best in a quiet (but active) home. Once Butterscotch warms up, she is super playful. She does have herding tendencies in her play, which means she can be mouthy. Butterscotch would do best in a home in a quieter environment, and ideally in a place where she can have room to play and get lots of exercise. She is the perfect travel sized dog coming in at around 20 pounds. This poor girl has had a bit of a ruff start to life so she first comes across a little timid and skittish, but once she comes out of her shell she is a complete sweetheart!

Story
MEET OLLIE! Very energetic, loving, goofy. One of those dogs that is simultaneously too smart for his own good, and seems like he only has one braincell bouncing around in there. He will give his loved ones kisses and let you big spoon cuddle him. He is a very anxious dog, very reactive to the mailman and strangers, but friendly once properly introduced. LOOKING FOR: Someone who has experience, patience, and energy -- willing to work with Ollie on some of his more troublesome behaviors (barking, jumping, leash pulling). A yard or the ability to take him out for walks/runs frequently. WHY REHOME? Ollie lived with me since a small puppy, COVID led to a temporary move back home with the parents. Parents cannot take care of Ollie due to their age/physical ability/work life. I cannot take him back due to having to move to a small apartment that does not allow dogs. I am heartbroken to rehome him but he deserves the absolute best and I can no longer give him that.
