MEET DILLON... Dillon is what happens when you put a big puppy personality into a grown-up dog’s body! This handsome Dalmatian/Labrador mix is full of enthusiasm, affection, and an irresistible desire to say hello to absolutely everyone. Dillon was found as a stray in Delano, and sadly, no one came to claim him. Their loss is certainly someone else’s gain, because this boy loves meeting new people and making canine friends. He enjoys playing with dogs of all different sizes and has a wonderfully social, outgoing personality. Dillon is already a pleasure to walk on leash and is comfortable meeting strangers. His biggest challenge? He simply loves people a little too much! Dillon gets so excited that he likes to jump up, shower everyone with kisses, and sometimes forgets that his enthusiastic greeting could use a little refinement. He’ll benefit from some basic training to learn good manners, especially keeping all four paws on the ground and slowing down his exuberant greetings. The good news is that Dillon is eager to interact with people and should be a fun student for an adopter who enjoys teaching and engaging with their dog. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, playful, social dog who will happily make friends wherever he goes, Dillon could be your guy. Lexi is an affectionate, friendly girl who forms strong bonds with her people and loves being part of the action. Whether it's a game of fetch, a hike through the woods, a morning jog, or a day spent exploring, Lexi is happiest when she's by your side. She especially loves the water—splashing in a creek or cooling off in a kiddie pool is her idea of the perfect day! This beautiful brindle girl is intelligent and eager to please. She's food-motivated, loves to learn, and already knows several commands, including sit, down, take it, and drop it. With positive reinforcement and continued training, Lexi will thrive in a home that enjoys engaging with their dog. At around 55 - 60 pounds, Lexi is lean, athletic, and full of energy. She would do best with an active family that has experience with large dogs and is excited to include her in daily adventures. She's a playful tomboy who loves toys, playing with people, and soaking up affection. Lexi enjoys being the center of attention and may be happiest as the only dog in the home. Lulu Belle came to us extremely shy, however less than a week in foster care with other dogs she came out of her shell, more so every day, step by step she chose her safety and comfort zone, next thing we knew she was curled up on a dog bed on the couch! Lulu will put herself in a crate and likely it will make transitioning into a new home easier having a crate as an option - even with the door open... She is getting more comfortable on leash and out in the (suburban) world, she rides fine in a car, settling down pretty well. She came from the rural Central Valley so loud urban environments or new things like the beach (highly unlikely she has seen the ocean!) should be put on hold until she has climatized well to new surroundings and people. And she needs security, a safe haven in the world. She will climb onto your lap for love. Once she feels comfortable she will follow you around the house and out to a yard and she has starting to play well with other dogs, and liking toys alot! She is a chow hound for good treats... but Lulu Belle is a NO GO for a home with cats.

She already knows “Sit,” and other commands, responds well to gentle corrections, and thrives on affection and praise during training sessions. Lefty loves being part of the action and will happily lean in for pets and cuddles after a fun play session. Because of her energetic and outgoing personality, she’ll do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and burn off some of that energy. She’s great with kids and would make an excellent companion for an active family looking for a fun-loving best friend. Lefty is eager to keep learning, so continued training will help her build confidence and polish her manners (no jumping up!) while strengthening the bond with her new family. If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky athletic companion who is ready to go hiking, camping or on a road trip, and will bring endless smiles, Lefty might just be your perfect match.
