Story
Introducing May, a resilient and courageous dog who has overcome great adversity in her life. For several months, May found herself wandering the streets, facing the challenges of survival on her own. During this time, she endured a prolapsed vagina, a painful condition that required urgent medical attention. Though people in the neighborhood attempted to help her, her fear and mistrust kept her at a distance. Fortunately, fate intervened when one of our compassionate fosters caught sight of May and recognized the urgency of her situation. With a clever plan involving fries as bait, May was coaxed close enough to be safely captured. Immediately, she was taken to the veterinary clinic, where she underwent surgery to repair her injury. May is now ready for a new chapter in her life, filled with endless love, security, and happiness. If you're searching for a quiet and affectionate canine companion who will steal your heart with a single smile, look no further than May. Come and meet her, and witness the incredible transformation she has undergone. May is waiting with open paws to bring joy and warmth into your life. If May May sounds like she might be the right match for you, or if you want to check out more of our wonderful pets for adoption, please visit ffpets.org to read all about our TN-based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and to submit your application The adoption fee is $300 and transport is an additional $200 This pet is currently in a foster home in TN and will be transported north after the adoption is complete. Story
Special and Sweetest guy! Meet Finn who is a beautiful charming boy who is 10 months old. He's a Dalmatian and White Lab mix who is almost full grown at 40 pounds so he'll be on small side for the breed. He is such a happy and playful cutie - a perfect mid-sized guy. His coat is stunning and his personality is even better. He loves to play with other dogs and is respectful when asking them to join him. His energy level is medium to low....a mellow guy! He loves everyone he meets and would make a wonderful family dog. Reach out to get more information about him and see videos of him playing with other pooches!

This cutie was part of an "oops" litter in Puerto Rico.. unfortunate situation adding more homeless pets to the population but we are making sure the mom gets spayed ASAP. Their mom was 45 lbs and the dad was 43 lbs so they shouldn't be bigger than 50 lbs when full grown. They were born 9-4-23. There were 10 in the litter! Apply via www.nyshar.org/applications
