Story
Samantha is a beautiful, two-year-old Dalmatian who is affectionate and loving with her family. She is smart, though sometimes stubborn, and demonstrates good behavior by walking well on a leash and being housebroken. Samantha is shy and skittish around strangers, and she tends to be nervous around children, especially when they are playing or being loud. While she is affectionate with people she knows, Samantha has shown some challenges in her interactions with other dogs in the household. Due to her behavior and temperament, Samantha would do best in an adult home with no other pets. She is dog selective, and a meet-and-greet with any other pets in the household is mandatory. Samantha should be crated when left alone until her training is further refined. She requires a dog-savvy home that can provide her with the support and structure she needs. Samantha is currently up to date on her vaccines but has not yet been spayed. She is eligible for the NJ Low Cost Spay Neuter Program. If you are interested in meeting Samantha, please visit petresqinc.org to fill out an adoption application. Questions about her can be answered once an approved application is on file.October 26, 2025, 11:46 am

Meet Ethan | Apply Here | Videos Meet Ethan, our handsome 7 month old Dalmation that rings in at 45lbs. He’s (of course) the bigger brother of Celine! Both of these dashing Dals were surrendered to us during our mass spay and neuter efforts in Korea. As our team in Korea offers free spay, neuter, and vaccinations for dogs with owners living outdoors, we’re aiming to reduce the population while providing a better and healthier life for those we can. Just like his sister, Ethan is very well adjusted and just waiting for his perfect people. He’s a perfect gentleman indoors and out, keeping just the right pace while on leash. Ethan is thriving with all of the soft surfaces in his foster home and loves to sprawl out on the open floors. Once he warms up to you, he’ll even dramatically throw himself onto the floor to solicit belly rubs! His crate training is the only thing he truly needs continued support with, but with patience and dedication he’ll be an outstanding pup citizen! If you’re feeling like Yayoi Kusama and can’t resist the spots and dots, you can meet Ethan this weekend! Story
Meet Celine | Apply Here | Videos This gorgeous gal is 7 months old and a petite 35lbs. She’s covered in spots much like stardust in the sky and is just the sweetest. Celine and her brother came to us during one of our spay and neuter initiatives. As our team in Korea aims to spay/neuter and vaccinate dogs with homes but living outside, we are also encountering people who would rather them be rehomed. Through this, the two spotted babes have been given a chance at a much more luxurious lifestyle. Since she’s arrived in her first home here in NYC - her foster home - she’s learning quickly her role in the world. The biggest one being snuggles and pets. Celine regularly seeks affection and loves anything soft and cushy that she can rest on. On walks she’s curious and confident and very lady-like with her leash etiquette! She’s still adjusting to crate training so continued guidance with this will make her absolutely perfect! If you can’t believe your eyes and want to meet Celine the Dal in person, you’re in luck! You can meet her and all of our lovely adoptable pups this Saturday! Home For The Holidays! $100 off Jindo adoption fees ($450 and up) from Dec 13–31. Story
I adopted Opal from a shelter in Oklahoma. They told me she was good with other dogs but that is not the case. I have 4 other dogs and have tried everything to rehabilitate Opal from the trauma she experienced being a shelter dog. 3 trainers, 2 veterinarians including a veterinary behavioral specialist have advised that Opal will have a better, stress-free life in a home where she is the only dog. No cats either and I would say no children as she is nervous about her tail being touched. She is otherwise a sweet, lovely girl - she loves people, loves to play. She’s obedient- knows come, sit, stay, go to your spot, lay down, give paw and she walks great on a leash too. She is up to date on shots and in perfect health. She is one of the prettiest Dalmatians I have ever seen. Her coat is silky soft and she’s just beautiful. I will foster her for as long as it takes to find her the right home and I will not give her away to just anyone.

These pups are in Norwalk, Connecticut too!

Story
Pudge is a special guy. He’s unfortunately blind in one eye and may be losing sight in the other. A crummy Texas shelter no place for this guy. He is a very well behaved and chill. Great with other dogs and people. I’m pretty sure kids too but I’m checking on that. Nothing bothers this guy , he adapts to everything. Fully vetted! Vaccinated, neutered, hw-. Pudge needs a break in the worst way. Please consider pudge, he’ll bring love into your home. BE A HERO!!
