This happy, friendly, good-natured guy is looking for a home where he can settle in and be somebody’s very best buddy. â¤ï¸ Yogi has gone through training and has some pretty great manners to show for it! He has good recall, listens well, and is very food motivated, which makes continuing his training a breeze. He loves going for walks, spending time outside, and hopping in the car for an adventure. When the exploring is done, Yogi is perfectly happy curling up on a cozy blanket and relaxing with his people. And if you really want to win him over? Butt scratches. Apparently those are an essential part of the Yogi benefits package. Yogi can enjoy being social with other dogs in small doses and with enough space to take a break when he needs one, but he would be happiest being the only pet in his home, where he doesn’t have to share his space or his people. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise. MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
