Story
THIS ANIMAL HAS 2 ADOPTION HOLDS* Say hello to Zero! He came to TCHS as a stray, so we don't know much about his history. He has been playful and friendly with staff since his arrival! We are not sure how he would do around other dogs, cats or children. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Zero would benefit from basic obedience classes to help him grow up to be the best pup. Come meet this handsome man today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
Hi there! My name is Hank and Im on a mission to find my forever family! My foster parents say I am the ultimate good boy, and honestly, I have to agree. If youre looking for affection, we are going to be best friends. Dont let my size fool you- I consider myself a professional lap dog. I will squeeze my big body right onto your lap for cuddle time! I also love a good belly rub and will happily roll over to show you exactly where to scratch. Im incredibly social and get along with absolutely everyone. Kids? Love them! Other dogs? Lets play! Cats? No problem at all. I even do well around chickens and ducks, so I am farm-animal approved. My favorite place to be is outside exploring the great outdoors (though being right next to my humans is always a close second!). I love sniffing around and being out and about, so I make a great adventure companion. To top it off, Im housetrained and already know how to be a polite member of the household. I truly am quite a catch, if I say so myself. I have so much love to give my future family and cant wait to meet you! Hank is estimated to be two years old and 60 lbs. Since we dont know the dogs actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events! Please note: All dogs/puppies will not be at every event, and some may find their home prior to the event. If you are interested in a specific animal, please check our Facebook page for confirmed attendance the morning of the event: https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ You do not need to have a Facebook account to check the Safe Hands Facebook page for attendance. We hope to see you at an upcoming Meet & Greet! Saturday, August 29, 11:00 am-1:00 pm, Pet Evolution, 5217 Excelsior Blvd, St Louis Park, MN 55416 https://www.facebook.com/events/26971052572488251 Saturday, September 5, 12:00-2:00 pm, Big Wood Brewery, 3429 Centerville Rd, Vadnais Heights, MN 55127 https://www.facebook.com/events/2842656716133657
