Story
I am looking for a new foster family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Hi! My name is Jack frost, and I'm from Minnesota! Jack Frost is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy & snuggles. He is potty trained & crate trained, making him an easy addition to a lucky family! Jack adores other dogs & would do great with another dog, when he sees other dogs his tail immediately starts wagging and he wants to play. His favorite past times include playing with toys, playing with other dogs, and being outside in the backyard. He also has balanced his play time nicely with nap time, he loves to snuggle and will climb right into your lap for naps - he is developing his couch potato ways! He is just starting training on leash walking and is doing well so far and seems to enjoy getting out for short walks. Jack Frost is potty trained, sleeps through the night, and loves everyone he meets!

Story
Meet Bella, a 10-year-old Dalmatian queen with gentle confidence and a soft spot for the cozy life. At 76 pounds, she knows exactly what she wants—and isn’t shy about letting you know. Whether it’s more pets, a better lounging spot, or a timely trip outside, Bella is always ready for a little of what is next and loves to “discuss.”While she still enjoys walks and some playtime, Bella is happiest relaxing near her people and soaking up all the love. She adjusted well to her foster home with a patient, gentle family and has proven to be trustworthy when free-roaming. She is house-trained but needs frequent potty breaks with easy access to the yard. Because she can be a bit vocal, she’ll need a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes).She enjoys being active but doesn’t need quite the same level of intensity as a younger dog—think a nice balance of movement and plenty of couch time. A fenced yard will be required in her future home to keep her safe while she gets her exercise and fresh air.Bella does well with other dogs but does best with proper introductions. She's also great with kids, but she cannot live with cats. Bella also needs a special urinary food and will come with a month's supply, and we will work with your vet of choice to transfer her prescription for specialty food.If you’re looking for a dog with personality, presence, and a whole lot of love to give, Bella is ready to rule your home (and your heart). If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $250. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
Meet Camo and Checkers! This adorable Dalmatian duo is a package deal full of personality and just the right mix of chill and playful energy.Checkers (8–9 years, ~55 lbs) is the distinguished gentleman of the pair. He’s happiest curled up under a blanket or in a cozy sweater, thriving on belly rubs. Checkers does need a bit of patience as he continues working on house-training habits and managing some age-related spinal weakness—but he’s come a long way and will reward you with unwavering loyalty and love.Camo (2–3 years, ~33 lbs) is the spunky little shadow you didn’t know you needed. He’s equal parts zoomies and naps, with a hilarious personality that shines through his playful yips and signature “crawl” trick. He loves being near his people (preferably the center of attention!) and will happily burrow into your lap or a blanket when it’s time to wind down. These boys were rescued from a difficult hoarding situation and have worked incredibly hard to rebuild their strength and trust in people. In their new foster home, they love their routines, and will definitely remind you when it’s mealtime. Checkers is crate-trained too but Camo is afraid unless he goes in Checkers' XL kennel alongside him.Checkers and Camo are indifferent to cats, and their foster family has no concerns about living with other dogs or with children. They tend to bark at other dogs outside so they may need help with introductions.Daily walks will help them relax, but they won't need excessive exercise or a fenced yard. Just a family who's committed to getting their wiggles out (10 minute walk) every day or they may be more mischievous. If you’re looking for a heart-melting senior sweetheart and a goofy, lovable sidekick, Checkers and Camo are ready to bring laughter and lots of snuggles into your life!If you are interested in Camo and Checkers, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Story
Bubba is some sort of pointer mix and is about 4 years old. Such a sweet boy who has always welcomed affection and has such a love for life. When we found him, he was quite emaciated and required proper refeeding and lots of love. Our family felt as though he found us for a reason and therefore he has been at home with us, hoping his owners may respond to social media posts however this never happened and unfortunately, he was never microchipped. He is doing really well right now in regards to having gained appropriate weight and although we will miss him, we are not in a position to keep him long term. Bubba is a high energy dog that thinks he is a lap dog:) Requires ability to get significant amount of exercise daily. Loves walks, car rides and palling around. Knows basic commands. Walks well on a leash but requires redirection with bunnies/other dogs/some people as he will bark. Has started to play along fence line with neighbors dog. Warming up to our FIVE cats :)
