Story
I adopted Opal from a shelter in Oklahoma. They told me she was good with other dogs but that is not the case. I have 4 other dogs and have tried everything to rehabilitate Opal from the trauma she experienced being a shelter dog. 3 trainers, 2 veterinarians including a veterinary behavioral specialist have advised that Opal will have a better, stress-free life in a home where she is the only dog. No cats either and I would say no children as she is nervous about her tail being touched. She is otherwise a sweet, lovely girl - she loves people, loves to play. She’s obedient- knows come, sit, stay, go to your spot, lay down, give paw and she walks great on a leash too. She is up to date on shots and in perfect health. She is one of the prettiest Dalmatians I have ever seen. Her coat is silky soft and she’s just beautiful. I will foster her for as long as it takes to find her the right home and I will not give her away to just anyone.

Story
Meet Celine | Apply Here | Videos Celine is a confident and curious young Dalmatian who brings brightness wherever she goes. At just 8 months old and around 31 lbs, she’s still got that puppy bounce and eagerness to explore. She loves to observe everything happening around her, and her alert, intelligent gaze makes it clear she’s taking it all in. Celine has a social streak and isn’t afraid to approach new people or dogs once she’s had a moment to assess. With her gentle demeanor and natural curiosity, she’d do well in a home ready to guide her through continued training and daily enrichment.   Come meet our adoptable dogs at this weekend’s Korean K9 Rescue event   Meet Us This Saturday  Petco UES - 991 2nd Ave  Adoption Hours: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM  Saturday, Dec 6th, 2025   Learn more about our adoption process: www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-procedures www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-faq   Korean K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit saving dogs from the Korean dog meat trade and overcrowded shelters. Story
Meet Ethan | Apply Here | Videos Ethan is Celine’s sweet and slightly more sensitive brother. At around 8 months old and nearly 40 lbs, he’s a gentle giant-in-training who tends to hang back a bit at first—but once comfortable, he reveals a loyal, affectionate side. Ethan is playful, observant, and quick to look to his people for reassurance in new environments. He’s eager to connect and would thrive in a home that can help him build confidence while still giving him the space to warm up at his own pace.   Come meet our adoptable dogs at this weekend’s Korean K9 Rescue event   Meet Us This Saturday  Petco UES - 991 2nd Ave  Adoption Hours: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM  Saturday, Dec 6th, 2025   Learn more about our adoption process: www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-procedures www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-faq   Korean K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit saving dogs from the Korean dog meat trade and overcrowded shelters. Story
Samantha is a beautiful, two-year-old Dalmatian who is affectionate and loving with her family. She is smart, though sometimes stubborn, and demonstrates good behavior by walking well on a leash and being housebroken. Samantha is shy and skittish around strangers, and she tends to be nervous around children, especially when they are playing or being loud. While she is affectionate with people she knows, Samantha has shown some challenges in her interactions with other dogs in the household. Due to her behavior and temperament, Samantha would do best in an adult home with no other pets. She is dog selective, and a meet-and-greet with any other pets in the household is mandatory. Samantha should be crated when left alone until her training is further refined. She requires a dog-savvy home that can provide her with the support and structure she needs. Samantha is currently up to date on her vaccines but has not yet been spayed. She is eligible for the NJ Low Cost Spay Neuter Program. If you are interested in meeting Samantha, please visit petresqinc.org to fill out an adoption application. Questions about her can be answered once an approved application is on file.October 26, 2025, 11:46 am
