Story
I adopted Opal from a shelter in Oklahoma. They told me she was good with other dogs but that is not the case. I have 4 other dogs and have tried everything to rehabilitate Opal from the trauma she experienced being a shelter dog. 3 trainers, 2 veterinarians including a veterinary behavioral specialist have advised that Opal will have a better, stress-free life in a home where she is the only dog. No cats either and I would say no children as she is nervous about her tail being touched. She is otherwise a sweet, lovely girl - she loves people, loves to play. She’s obedient- knows come, sit, stay, go to your spot, lay down, give paw and she walks great on a leash too. She is up to date on shots and in perfect health. She is one of the prettiest Dalmatians I have ever seen. Her coat is silky soft and she’s just beautiful. I will foster her for as long as it takes to find her the right home and I will not give her away to just anyone.

At 35 pounds, she is a petite, elegant presence with a love for snuggles and soft, cozy spots.   Celine has shown herself to be affectionate, curious, and quick to learn. She enjoys spending time with her people, regularly seeking pets and attention, and approaches walks with confidence and excellent leash manners. Celine is still adjusting to crate training, and a patient family providing continued guidance will help her become the perfect companion.   Celine would thrive in a home ready to continue building her confidence while providing love, consistency, and daily enrichment. She is a friendly, affectionate pup who would make a wonderful addition to a family prepared for a playful, attentive young dog.   Training Program: Celine is eligible for our Jindo Journey Grant Stipend, which covers 2 professional training sessions to support a smooth transition into their forever home. He enjoys lounging on soft surfaces, stretching out on open floors, and happily soliciting belly rubs once he warms up to his people. On leash, he is a gentleman, walking at a steady pace and exploring with curiosity.
