Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). CASPER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!    Hi, my name is Casper, and I am a very sweet, playful, energetic neutered boy.  I am a dalmation/pit mix, with one blue eye and one brown eye. I am about 2 years old. I am crate trained and have had no accidents in the house. I am strong, but my foster dad has taught me to walk on a leash. I really enjoy this exercise and time of bonding. I am a medium sized dog at a little less than 50 pounds. I enjoy the outdoors in a safe, fenced yard, but I am mainly an indoor dog. Won't you please consider adding me to your family? He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. Rocky was surrendered to the shelter after his owner passed and he did not get along with the family members other dog. Rocky was understandably nervous when first arriving at the shelter, but as he begins to realize he’s safe we are starting to see this handsome guys affectionate personality. He’s been laidback with us but that might change as he decompresses in his new home. Rocky wants nothing more than to find a loving family to call his own.
