Story
Dottie is a gorgeous and super special 10-year-old Dalmatian with a heart as big as her signature spots. She arrived to us very pregnant, and while she tragically lost her puppies, Dottie has shown nothing but strength and sweetness through it all. This gentle girl adores every human she meets. Whether it’s greeting you at the door with a wagging tail or curling up beside you for a snuggle, Dottie’s favorite place in the world is right next to her people. She’s a self-proclaimed cuddle expert who will happily soak up every bit of affection you offer. Dottie is a little chubby, which only adds to her charm—and she’s more than ready to enjoy leisurely walks and belly rubs as part of her journey to a healthier weight. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and currently finishing her medicine for Lyme disease, so she’ll be all set to start her next chapter of life. One thing Dottie is certain about: she does not want to share her home with feline friends. But with people, her love knows no bounds—she’s the kind of dog who makes every day brighter just by being there. Dottie is indifferent about canine friends. She is currently fostered with 5 other large breed dogs and does fine. At 10 years old, Dottie is past the puppy chaos and perfectly suited for a calm, loving home where she can relax, snuggle, and be adored. She is crate trained but prefers not to be crated overnight. Could you be the one to give Dottie the happily-ever-after she deserves? Dottie is being fostered in Sinking Spring PA. A meet and greet including all family members is required. Kennel license #9117

Story
We got Chai when she was 3 months old and have enjoyed having her in our home. She had two litters of puppies and was a great mom. She is wonderful with children and is a great dog! She does love food and will take things off counters and tables if it is accessible. We moved to a new home two years ago and do not have a large yard anymore. We also do not have a way to keep her out of our kitchen. Our children are also getting older and we don’t have as much time to spend with her. We feel that it is time to find a new home for her. She is eight years old and is in good health. She did have lymes two years ago but after a round of antibiotics it has not recurred.

Story
Say hello to the Righteous Gemstones. Mom is Lindy. She and her 6 pups were living on their own in the country and a nice lady was trying so hard to find help for this family. Sadly one pup did not survive but we were notified just in time to save mom and 6 pups. Lindy is only 42 pounds and looks to be a Kelpie. That’s a herding breed…and a perfect medium size. Mom is very laid back and she and her pups are enjoying the lifestyle they have come into. They have comfy beds, blankets, a couch, ac and all the food, water, vetting and love they needed to help them survive. We estimate the puppies were born in late March so that means if all goes as planned they will be fully vetted and ready for their forever homes the last weekend in May. What a perfect time to bring a pup home. If you are interested in adopting please visit our website at funnyfarmpets.org You can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works. The link to submit the application is https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Adoption fees are $399 and if the dog has to be transported out of West TN there will be an additional $200 fee.

Story
Jaxson is a very lovable dog. He is high energy and needs to be walked and taken out a couple times a day. Because he is high energy if he is not taken out he will act out. He loves to hug and jump up for kisses. He’s great with kids. He’s 4 years old. His birthday is Jan 15. He isn’t very aggressive but is protective. Enjoys sleeping on the couch or a good blanket. We got him when he was just a baby and have had him ever since. I am relocating and it breaks my heart that I can’t bring him with me. My kids are also very sad. Looking for someone that can give him time and attention.

Story
Ruby and Marshall are a bonded pair. They have been together with their owner for a very long time. However, their beloved human has passed away, so they are in need of a new forever home. They can go separately. They need someone that can spend a lot of time with them. They are very affectionate and are always starved for attention, as their previous owner gave them all of his attention every day. They are both housebroken and do very well on a leash. They also love to play in a fenced in yard together. Their previous owner seemed to have them on a schedule where he would take them out every 3 hours for paly and potty breaks. Ruby and Marshall would make a great family members for an active family. If you would like to add them to your home, please respond by using the big black button marked: "Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These dogs are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road.

Story
Gem is a four-year-old German Shorthair Pointer (GSP) with a zest for life and a loving nature. Like most GSPs, she’s full of energy and thrives in a home that can keep up with her active lifestyle. Whether it’s hiking, running, or exploring the great outdoors, Gem is ready to be your adventure buddy. After a day of activity, she loves nothing more than to settle down for some quality snuggle time with her favorite people. Her favorite thing, beyond anything else, is to be right by her person's side. Gem is well-mannered and has a solid foundation of basic training. She’s potty trained, walks well on a leash, and has reliable recall skills, making her a joy to take on outings. However, her hunting breed instincts are strong, and she has a high prey drive, so she requires a secure, tall, physically fenced yard (no electric fences or tie outs) to safely burn off her energy. Gem’s ideal home is a single-family home with plenty of space and a secure yard, as she needs room to run and play. She is not a good fit for renters or homes with restrictions on outdoor space. Due to her desire to chase, Gem is also not suitable for a home with cats or small animals. She lives in a foster home with six other dogs and gets along well with them, so she would love another canine companion, but would also do well as an only dog! While Gem is friendly and affectionate, she can get nervous in certain situations. For this reason, she would do best in a home with children aged 15 or older who can understand and respect her boundaries. She’s crate-trained and is most comfortable and will need to be crated when her family isn’t home, which helps her feel safe and secure. Gem is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, so she’s ready to transition smoothly into her new home. Her ideal family will not only appreciate her energetic and playful nature but also provide the structure and understanding she needs. If you’re looking for a loyal, active companion and are willing to travel to Reading, PA, to meet her, Gem could be the perfect fit!
