Surrendered from a commercial breeder because she is deaf, Libby has already overcome the odds and now she’s ready for her perfect home. This girl is busy, bouncy, and always on the go. She’s incredibly smart but currently has zero “listening” or focus skills, so her foster family is working hard to help her learn and build communication. She will need a committed adopter ready to continue that work. Libby would thrive in a home with a confident, tolerant larger dog who can help show her the ropes. She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, but she doesn’t always pick up on cues when her playmates have had enough of her antics. Because she can be vocal when she’s frustrated, Libby is not a good fit for apartment living. I've owned & raised Huskies for 28+ years. This August will be 3 years that I lost the love of my life, my white Husky, Sabbath. Eventually, I got Remus. Absolutely love this breed. But- I'm now 52 & have MS. I have come to realize that with my physical limitations, I am no longer able to give a Husky their best life. I don't have a fenced in yard for him & walking him is very difficult. We are going to be moving in a few weeks to a townhouse with a fenced yard, but it's a very small yard, enough to trot around in, but not for him to get in any kind of running or proper exercise. I have an Italian Greyhound, whom he loves, but a 13 lb play is just not enough. He LOVES playing with other big dogs. Because of this, I feel like I'm ripping him off & I just want the best life for him. He needs a fenced in yard & someone who already has a big dog & would like a friend for him or her💜
