Story
Yoko is a rescue we got about a year ago. She has gorgeous blue eyes, 100% pure dalmation, but she is completely deaf. Her eye sight is great. Yoko is around 5 to 6 years. She is moderately energetic and likes to play. She is slightly overweight as she loves to eat and get treats. She is a couch potato. She loves to lay on the couch and watch you, watch TV, or sleep. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and good as a watch dog. She is good with older kids, not younger than 8 years. She IS NEVER CRATED! She is great on walks and at events. With her being deaf she uses her sight and smell to understand you and she is VERY smart. She is house trained- goes on puppy mats and outside. She is very healthy and on dog chow dry food only. She loves to be petted on her head and ears and love attention. She is a love bug. We need to rehome because we are fostering a baby soon.

Story
Luna came into our lives unexpectedly and instantly became family. She came from a surprise litter: a rescued pit bull and a beloved Dalmatian. One of six little lives. We brought her home in 2022, and from that moment on, she was ours. Now 4 years old, Luna is the kind of dog who follows you from room to room, just happy to be near you. She plays gently with children, melts into your side for naps, and brings her goofy joy to the everyday. She’s smart, soulful, and full of heart! Our life has drastically changed: two new babies, a 7 year old, chronic health issues, work travel, and financial strain have made it impossible to keep up with Luna’s care. We’ve looked into walkers, daycare, and help from family, but none of it is doable- and it’s not fair to her. She’d do best in a home with time for daily walks, play, and space to move whether that’s a fenced yard or nearby parks. Letting her go is heartbreaking, but keeping her would be unfair. She deserves more than we can give.

Dewey and his brothers Huey and Louie were found on a highway in Puerto Rico after his momma and two other siblings were tragically killed. Left behind, this tiny boy somehow survived. Despite everything, Dewey is incredibly curious, happy, and loving. He’s great with cats, dogs, and kids, and like any puppy, he’s still working on potty training. After losing everything, Dewey is still choosing love — now he just needs someone to choose him back.

Artimis is a hurricane rescue from Puerto Rico. She has been a great dog for the family for the past 6 years. She loves going on walks, sleeping in sun spots, curling up on cushions, and pretending the rest of the outside world doesn't exist. In passing she is great with other dogs, children, and people, but she can become stressed when she is overexposed to others for to long. She has been under a lot of stress since had a lot of life changes and needs a quiet(er) home. Some fun things to know: She can teach you how to field dress a snake. She will surgically dismantle any toy you give her that has stitches. She will absolutely catch that annoying fly that's been buzzing around your house. If you put her under a blanket, she will never move again. She will find food. Even if there has never been food in that room before, she will find it. Artemis has sever skin allergies that are treated with Prednisone. She will need to be on 5mg of Prednisone per day.

He does best in a calm, structured environment with clear boundaries.He has significant behavioral challenges that we have not been able to fully address, including:Reactivity and aggression toward unfamiliar people entering the homeResource guarding and defensive behavior when correctedIncreased reactivity toward women and children in the householdDue to these behaviors, he is not a good fit for a home with children and would do best in a quiet home with an experienced handler who understands behaviorally complex dogs.He has not received professional training due to financial limitations, but we believe he has the potential to improve with consistent, experienced guidance.This has been a difficult decision, but our priority is the safety of our family and finding the right environment where Remington can succeed.
