Super sweet, super energetic dog! A little too energetic for a newborn. She escaped a Georgia dog fight ring and a trucker drove her up to Philadelphia at only 9 weeks old. She’s house trained and good with young kids who aren’t afraid of dogs and has never bitten anyone. She rarely barks so she’s good if you have strict sound restrictions in your apartment.

Story
We got Chai when she was 3 months old and have enjoyed having her in our home. She had two litters of puppies and was a great mom. She is wonderful with children and is a great dog! She does love food and will take things off counters and tables if it is accessible. We moved to a new home two years ago and do not have a large yard anymore. We also do not have a way to keep her out of our kitchen. Our children are also getting older and we don’t have as much time to spend with her. We feel that it is time to find a new home for her. She is eight years old and is in good health. She did have lymes two years ago but after a round of antibiotics it has not recurred.

Boop came to us from a group of dogs who were under socialized. In the last few days she has really showed improvement and is ready to find a home. She will be fixed prior to adoption and will be dog and cat tested in the next few days.

Story
Sable came to us under under-socialized, scared and shut down. In the last few days she has come out of her shell and has done amazing with other dogs and is sweet as can be once she learns to trust. She needs a stable loving home and would probably strive in a home with other dogs.

Story
Rosie is the sweetest girl. Don't let her age fool you, even though she is 8 she acts like she is 2! She would make for a great bird dog if a hunter would take some time to train her, she points at everything and has a high prey drive! She ended up at our adoption center to no fault of her own. Her previous owner said he didn't have time for her and has been keeping her outside in a kennel because he didn't want Rosie to knock over his elderly mother. Rosie does resource guard her favorite bones/toys but does not care when you take her food! After we ran some blood work on her we did find that she has pancreatitis. This just means she needs to be on a low-fat food to prevent her from getting fatty liver disease. Rosie is now spayed, up to date on vaccines and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
