Story
MEET MEADOW ~ Meadow is a dobie mix, and so incredibly sweet annd anffe though still a bit shy. Meadow is approximately 1 year old now. She loves other dogs and children. She was brought to our attention by a rescue volunteer and admin of lost & found groups who saw meadow in substandard living conditions and asked us if we could do a drive by check it out. Short version of her story, once arriving and seeing the conditions where she was kept, and talking with the owners, they stated they did not want her, she was very thin, malnourished and tested positive for Parvo on arrival. That was approximately 8 months ago. Meadow has fully recovered under our care, She is now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She’s a bit shy with new humans but warms up quickly and great with all dogs and likes to visit the horses. she is friendly and curious about the horses but keeps her distance. If you believe Meadow is your love match please send some information about yourselves and how Meadow would spend her days with you along with a request for an adoption application to gooddogk9rescue@yahoo.com Thank you, Good Dog K9 Rescue

Story
Zorro is a handsome, 50-pound, young Doberman (estimated DOB 12/22). He would love a home with an active family (older or no kids) who isn't gone for long periods. Ideal family would have breed experience, is committed to continue his training, with a yard and a friendly dog buddy to play with. Zorro came to the rescue emaciated, malnourished, with parvo and a damaged eye which had to be removed. He has made an amazing recovery and has turned into a sweet, goofy, energetic boy who is learning how to be part of a family and a pack. He can be a bit of an insecure guy with new people and new dogs so it does take him time to warm up. He likes to play and can be a bit pushy with dogs that are smaller or who have a more submissive play style. He’s curious about the cats in his foster home, but will chase if they run. He is working on not jumping up on people so small children might not be ideal. He is still working on basic training. He is potty trained with consistent reminders throughout the day. Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
