Story
We adopted Rosco from our local shelter after having our previously beloved dog euthanized for a terminal illness. We think he is about 2 or 2 1/2 years old. My husband and I are both 83 years old and Rosco needs a younger family that can give him the training he needs. He is a loving dog and very people friendly. He's currently on anti-anxiety and calming meds.

Story
Rimini is a gentle soul and one of the newest arrivals at our shelter. She's still adjusting to her surroundings and can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she opens up quickly and absolutely loves cuddles. Rimini is currently a bit hesitant around other dogs. However, with a slow and patient introduction, we believe she could get along well with a calm and respectful dog. Interested in adopting? Story
Bocce was found in a park with no tags, collar, or microchip. I took him home in hopes of finding his forever home. I've had him for about a week now and he is amazing. He's about 1 years old so young but not puppy puppy. He sleeps through the night with no accidents but if he gets too excited he might pee a little. He Is extremely treat motivated and very very smart so he would thrive with someone who can provide that mental stimulation. I've been using slow feeders and treat puzzles during meal times and that tires him out great. He is pretty good on walks. For the most part he ignores dogs and people but if the dog is barking at him or if a person is trying to get his attention he gets a littler nervous. But because of how young and moldable he is he could easily be trained to walk well on a leash. He seems to ignore other pets in a household but unsure. I think he would do well with kids especially if they gave him treats!! He is suspicious of men!!! He has updated Rabies Vac.

Story
Courtesy Post – Meet Ace!   NOTE: THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER Ace is a stunning 1-year-old Doberman Pinscher who is looking for a loving, active home where he can get the attention, companionship, and continued training he needs to thrive. His current family is heartbroken to rehome him but due to housing limitations and busy work/school schedules, they are no longer able to give Ace the time and care he deserves. Ace is: Neutered and up to date on vaccines Potty trained and crate trained Friendly with children and has lived with other dogs Allows people to take food and toys without issue Ace has been raised both indoors and outdoors, and while he’s alert and protective by nature—true to his breed—he’s also social and curious. He may bark when people approach the home, but once introduced, he is calm and even allows visitors to pet him. He's been well-loved and shows great potential in the right environment. Note on behavior: Ace had one incident on a hike where someone approached him while he was tethered and entered his personal space. He lunged and caused a minor scratch. The person did not require stitches. He has not shown ongoing aggression and has otherwise been friendly and manageable. Ace would do best in a home that understands the Doberman breed’s need for structure, exercise, and mental stimulation. His current owner feels he would benefit greatly from having another dog companion, as he enjoys the company and playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and protective pup to add to your home—and you have the time and commitment to support his growth—Ace might be the perfect match.
