WATCH MY VIDEO...Monica is a beautiful 7 month old Doberman mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She was adopted from us as a puppy but has returned through no fault of her own because her family is moving and is unable to take her with them. Her previous family described Monica as a wonderful dog. She is house trained, crate trained, and has lived successfully with adults, children as young as 3 years old, and other dogs. She has not been around cats. Monica is friendly, loves to play, and greets people with happy enthusiasm. She is learning her basic commands and is especially motivated by bacon and jerky treats. Monica enjoys running and playing at the park, especially with children. She loves belly rubs, has plenty of energy, and has an adorable habit of crunching on ice cubes. Our staff and volunteers have been equally impressed with this sweet girl. They describe her as friendly and easy to leash. She walks beautifully on a leash, earning a 9 out of 10 for her leash manners. Monica appears to be house trained and has shown no reactivity toward the other dogs in our kennels. If you are looking for a fun, affectionate, and active young dog to grow with your family, Monica is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of adventures. She is eager to find a forever home that will never let her go.

05/05/26. Baron is a 5-year-old who’s been patiently waiting for someone to notice him. This handsome blue boy may not have the classic Doberman look, but he absolutely has the heart. He came to the Melbourne shelter after being hit by a car. Thankfully, he didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries. He soon made his way to us, and he’s been waiting for months for his chance. Baron loves splashing in the pool, going for walks with our volunteers, and (of course) getting treats. He does well with other dogs. Cats and children are unknown.
