Story
Asher came to the shelter when she was 6 months old. The shelter scared her badly, so she went home and is being fostered with a shelter staff member. She is crate and potty trained. She is currently in a home with multiple dogs and cats. She is playful and medium to high energy. A complete lovebug! Asher wants nothing more than to be with her people and get her lovin’s! Asher is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home! This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org. If approved, we will facilitate a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions you may have. We partner with the awesome transport service company Rescue Riders to safely and professionally move our animals to their loving new homes!

Story
Born on 02.01.2024, Julius is a great playful boy who would be a good pack addition. He enjoys people and furnates and is pretty fearless with the big resident dogs.  Julius is a low/med drive male who is extremely smart and will be a big boy! He loves his people, but also has an independent side. Very toy motivated. Stay tuned with updates on Julius and the rest of his litters by searching their hashtag #MADLoveTeenyTitans on Facebook. *********************************************************************** Puppies will require a refundable spay/neuter deposit of $250 in addition to the adoption fee and have to be fixed at about 6 months of age. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hank is a 3 year old Serbian-bred Doberman Pinscher, he is a perfect gentleman and he wants nothing more than to make his people happy. He has excellent food & toy drive and he would be a great companion for someone interested in dog sports like obedience or rally. He already has a solid training foundation: he knows sit, down, place, stay, heel, pivot, and through(stand between handler’s legs). He is trained to work on an e- collar and a prong, and he has excellent leash manners and behaves just as well in a martingale collar or on a slip lead. He has a high prey drive and would not do well in a house with cats, small dogs, or other small free-roaming animals. He is friendly with strangers but he does like to jump when he’s excited, so due to his size and energy level he should not be in a house with children. He responds extremely well to praise and positive reinforcement. He seems to be housebroken and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home, and he doesn’t seem to have any bad habits with marking inside or outside. He can be a bit mouthy as well, he likes to nibble hands and he clacks his teeth sometimes when he’s excited or after getting treats. Hank does get anxious in new places and will need help building up his confidence, but he’s extremely eager to please and has a reasonable temperament so it doesn’t take much encouragement to get him to settle down. He can be fear reactive but this should improve as he becomes more confident and secure- he’s already shown that he’s capable of ignoring other dogs and strangers nearby when he’s comfortable. With slow and proper introduction Hank he is good with female dogs. He can be respectful with female dogs and he enjoys being able to run around and roughhouse with them. He enjoys car rides and doesn’t seem to have any issues with getting carsick. If you think Hank is a fit for you and especially if you are a experienced Doberman or working breed owner don't hesitate to fill out an application. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
