Story
Phoenix! This lovely, squishy medium sized (maybe 55 lbs) girl is around 2-3 years old. She was originally adopted from us as a puppy but returned for not getting along with the other pets in the home. Phoenix should be an only pet in her new home, but is a lovely girl willing to give you all her love. She would benefit from a diet and losing a little weight. She is a great girl who is fully housebroken (but may have a few small accidents as she gets acclimated) and crate trained. She would be fine with older, school aged children. Story
KENNEL ID #18804Meet Queenie of The Canine Coven — all the way from Tennessee!  Seven magical little girls inspired by American Horror Story: Coven. Each one has her own personality, charm, and a little bit of puppy magic. Ready to cast a love spell on their forever families.  The Coven was born 12/29/25 and these girls are expected to grow to about 30–50 lbs when fully grown. Their mother is believed to be a Doberman mix, though we suspect there may also be some Lab in the mix and dad was a miniature schnauzer. Queenie and her two sisters Zoe and Myrtle are being fostered by Lindsay in a busy, real-life home—and is absolutely thriving. With kids running around and five other dogs ranging from Mastiff to Chihuahua, these girls have learned how to fit right in. They have wonderful manners, know when it’s time to play, and just as importantly… when it’s time to settle down and relax. They’re the kind of puppies everyone hopes for—well-socialized, easygoing, and already used to the rhythm of a family home. If you’re looking for a happy, adaptable, family-ready puppy, you truly can’t go wrong with one of these girls. Adoption Fee $375 (includes spay)Thank you for your interest in rescue. Story
Bandit is a 5-year-old Doberman who embodies everything people love about the breed: intelligent, loyal, affectionate, and deeply devoted to his people. Once Bandit trusts you, his loving personality truly shines! This handsome boy enjoys spending time outdoors, playing in the yard, and being near the people he loves most. He already knows several commands including sit, come, paw, and lay down, and he’s eager to bond with someone willing to give him the patience and consistency he deserves. Bandit is reported to do well with cats and children. While he can be selective with other dogs, he has made a few canine friends while in rescue, showing that with proper introductions and the right match, he can coexist successfully with other dogs. Bandit may take a little extra time warming up to some men, but once he feels safe and secure, he becomes an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a smart, devoted Doberman to be your shadow and best friend, Bandit may be the perfect fit for your family. Please note: This is a courtesy post. Bandit is not with Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc.. Story
Eowyn is a 6-year-old Doberman Pinscher with a big personality, playful energy, and a whole lot of love to give. After everything she’s been through, she is ready to find a home where she can truly settle in and thrive. Eowyn is a happy, bouncy girl who loves to move. She enjoys running, playing, and chasing toys, and she brings a fun, energetic presence wherever she goes. She is strong and enthusiastic, especially on leash, and will benefit from continued guidance and structure to help her channel that energy. She is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being around her people. Eowyn is the type of dog who will happily seek out attention, lean into you for pets, and be right in the middle of whatever you’re doing. She has lived in a home with a cat and other dogs, however since coming into foster she has not played with or welcomed any dog she has met. She would likely do best in a single dog home. Eowyn would do best with an owner who understands the Doberman personality and can provide structure, consistency, and continued training. Because she is strong, jumpy, and doesn’t always realize her size, a home without very small children would be best. She has been through a lot of change recently and is adjusting to a new environment, but her sweet, fun-loving personality continues to shine through. With the right home, Eowyn is going to be an incredibly loyal, entertaining, and loving companion. If you are interested in being considered for Eowyn’s placement, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DPR/Dog Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc.
