☀️ Meet **Summer**! ☀️ Summer is a beautiful 2½-year-old black female Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, Heartworm negative, and more than ready to find her furever home! Summer is wonderfully dog friendly and easily becomes part of the pack, playful, social, and respectful with other dogs. While cats are unknown, she appears to have a low prey drive and does well with small dogs and children, playing gently and sweetly. She recently made her way north from Georgia, and we are still learning more about this lovely girl. What we already know? She is affectionate, kind, and eager to bond with her people. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving Dobe to add sunshine to your life, Summer may be your perfect match! Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DPR/Dog PA Kennel License #14649

Meet Link – The Half Doberman, Half Shark Puppy! Looking for a puppy who will keep you laughing, moving, and fully entertained? Meet Link, our resident goofball who appears to be 50% Doberman puppy and 50% tiny land shark (don’t worry, it’s all excitement and play). Link is estimated to be between 6–10 months old, which means he is right in the middle of that hilarious, energetic puppy stage. He is everything you would expect from a young Doberman: bouncy, curious, affectionate, and full of personality. His favorite activities include wrestling with his foster dog siblings, zooming around the house at mach 10, and meticulously removing the stuffing from all of his toys. Link loves meeting everyone including adults, children, and other animals. He would do well in a home with other higher energy dogs who enjoy an active play style. Because he is still a young puppy with lots of excitement, his playtime should be supervised and guided so he continues learning good manners and boundaries. Due to neglect and emaciation he experienced in his short life, Link prefers to enjoy his breakfast and dinner separately from his canine foster siblings, where he can eat peacefully. That said, he is always happy to join the treat party with his dog friends with no issues. Like all puppies, Link is still learning the ropes. He is currently working on basic commands such as sit, down, and leave it, and he is making progress with potty training. Link is currently being fostered in Central New Jersey, and approved applicants will need to travel for a meet and greet. If you are ready for a loyal sidekick, a professional zoomie athlete, and a puppy who will keep life interesting, Link might just be your perfect match. Story
🐾 Meet Jack — Our Big, Goofy Doberman Pup! 🖤 Jack is a 1-year-old black and tan Doberman with a heart as big as his paws! Curious, active, and eager to learn, this handsome boy loves to stay busy and be part of the action. He’s incredibly smart and enjoys training sessions, especially when there are toys involved. Fetch is his favorite game, and he picks up on shaping exercises very quickly. When it comes to grooming, Jack is a dream. He’s calm for teeth brushing, nail grinding, baths, ear cleaning, and even eye drops. He’s got wonderful crate manners too, happily napping or sleeping through the night with his favorite stuffed toy tucked under his chin. Jack was found as a stray and is still tentative about the big world around him. He’s very reactive to moving vehicles, so peaceful wooded hikes are his happy place while he continues working on desensitization. He also loves car rides, but he’ll need to be securely harnessed since his enthusiasm for watching passing cars can make him a bit too wiggly on the road! Because of his size (and his clumsy puppy energy!), he’ll need a securely fenced yard to safely run and play, and a home without children. Jack has shown some mild guarding behavior over found items like socks or clothing, but he’s learning “drop it” beautifully and has made great progress with his foster parents’ guidance. Potential adopters should simply be aware that he may need continued consistency as he adjusts to a new home. This lovable boy wants to be close to his people at all times and loves cuddles, kisses, and companionship are his love language. Jack will thrive with an experienced adopter who understands Dobermans, can continue his training, and will give him the structure and affection he craves. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate companion with endless potential, Jack is your guy. Jack is neutered, microchipped, and all up to date on his vaccines. Please visit our website directly for adoption application or any interest do not submit inquiries through this site. https://humblehounds.org/adoption-process-1 Meet Dutch – Your Future Velcro Shadow with a Heart of Gold (and a Nose for Butter) Looking for a handsome, goofy, 103-pound snuggle bug who doubles as your hiking buddy and kitchen supervisor? Look no further than Dutch, a 4-year-old neutered male Doberman with floppy ears, a docked tail, and a heart as big as his paws. Dutch is a sweet, energetic boy who lives for fetch, trail adventures, and playing chase with his besties (currently a Frenchie and a German Shepherd). He’s dog-friendly overall, but has strong opinions about fluffy dogs sometimes and can be reactive on leash, so continued training and management are important. He does not do well with cats or small critters—Dutch has a serious case of “squirrel brain” and a strong prey drive. He’s good with kids, but doesn’t know his size and thinks all stuffed animals/lovies belong to him, so he’s better suited for homes without small children or at least under close supervision around them. That being said, he has never had any aggression issues with children or any people in general. Dutch is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a prong collar, with growing skills on a harness. He’s been through multiple training programs and learns quickly—especially when rotisserie chicken is involved. He needs a fenced yard to zoom around in and would love an active home that can give him plenty of stimulation and structure. This sensitive guy has anxiety, which is well managed on Prozac, and he never goes anywhere without his emotional support rubber chicken, Antonio. He’s a routine lover: breakfast and dinner at 6 sharp. He’ll politely politely—but persistently—remind you if you’re late. He sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom and rises with the sun, ready to start the day. Dutch loves car rides, though he might bark at bikes or loud noises—he’s just passionate about public safety. He’s also got a serious butter addiction (yes, butter), so keep that and other treats on the counter clear unless you want a four-legged kitchen bandit on your hands. At his core, Dutch is a loyal, loving Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether you’re hiking a trail, binge-watching a show, or just hanging out on the couch. Dutch is looking for his forever home through no fault of his own. He’s a simple boy, just looking for someone to love, follow, and (gently) demand ear scratches from. If you’re ready to open your heart (and your snack drawer) to this big-hearted goofball, Dutch is ready to be your ride-or-die.

Story
Meet Mace Mace is an 8‑week‑old Doberman puppy with a confident, energetic personality and tons of potential. He was surrendered from a Lancaster breeder due to a slight overbite, which does not affect his health or quality of life. Mace is currently in foster care with his brother Dagger, and like most Doberman puppies, both boys are high‑energy, smart, and always ready to go. They are being actively socialized with dogs, kids, and cats, but they are already showing a strong tendency to chase cats, so Mace will be looking for a cat‑free home. This driven, intelligent puppy is going to grow into a powerful adult dog, which is why we are seeking an experienced Doberman or working‑breed home. These puppies are not appropriate for first‑time dog owners. Mace will need consistent training, structure, mental enrichment, and ongoing socialization as he grows to become the best boy possible. Like most young puppies, Mace is currently very mouthy while learning appropriate manners, so a home without small children is preferred. If you’re familiar with the Doberman breed and ready to commit to the work it takes to raise a confident, well‑rounded companion, Mace has everything it takes to become an incredible dog. Mace has his natural ears, and per our adoption contract, they must remain natural and cannot be altered. His tail was docked prior to coming into our care. He will come with age appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped. Apply today at: www.phoenixanimalrescue.com His adoption fee is $550. Story
Harley is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Harley is a male and is 6-7 months old (February 28) -He and his 2 brothers look completely different, Harley looks like a Doberman (sleek bodied, long thin face), one looks like a Shepherd mix, and another looks like a Shepherd/Rottie mix. So, I think they are a mixed bag breed-wise. Can only go off of looks for now. -Weighs around 25-30 pounds on February 28th -Came into a local shelter due to an abuse/neglect case -Does well with other dogs -Probably best with older children at time of posting, he and siblings get excited and nip at end of your shirt/coat sleeves for attention/when excited -May be housebroken, does not go to the bathroom in his crate/kennel and immediately uses the bathroom when he is put outside -Very friendly, loves attention and pets -Loves to run and be outside -Video of Harley from January 18: https://youtube.com/shorts/7XvllxcKUbY Harley is neutered, vaccinated (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), dewormed, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Please fill out this application FIRST if you'd like to adopt Harley: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form, please contact us again at 580-257-0622 or luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com.
