Ms. Tulip is a loving and playful short-haired girl. She was found by a good Samaritan and taken to Bylaw-Animal Control. She was never claimed by an owner, so was then transferred to the Hinton SPCA. She soaks up all the love and attention a person can give! She sometimes gives little nibbles but responds well to correction. Tulip walks well on leash and enjoys spending time with our volunteers. Tulip likes dog savvy children

Indie is a sweet and loyal female shepherd cross, born right here at the Hinton SPCA on July 25, 2024. she was adopted out as a puppy, but the adoption turned out to be incompatible and she was returned to us February 22, 2025. She’s a friendly girl with an exuberance for life! She already knows how to sit and shake paws like a pro. Indie’s future forever home would have to help her with her leash manners. She is a smart girl so with consistency, she will learn quickly. When it comes to children Indie would do best in a home with children who are 12 and older. Indie does well with other dogs when introduced properly. She has no history with cats. She adores human companionship and would make a wonderful adventure buddy or snuggle partner. Come meet Indie and let her show you just how much love she has to give!

Intake Date: Dec 2025 Olive was a loving mom who came to us with her litter of eight puppies. They have all found their forever homes. Now it's Olive's turn! Olive has not had the easiest life. She was found in a cardboard box with her own litter of puppies and another mother who also had a litter. The other mother had mastitis, so Olive was feeding both litters. Now, Olive is learning life outside of "survival mode". She is enjoying frequent meals, a soft bed to sleep on and loving humans to give her a scratch behind the ears. Olive is unsure about men, needing a slow and proper introduction to them. When it comes to human affection, Olive is making up for lost time because she LOVES to cuddle with the staff

She's currently in the process of learning her basic manners and commands, showing great progress. Nala is a fantastic travel companion, riding smoothly in vehicles. She would flourish in an experienced dog owner's care, especially one with a large yard who is committed to furthering her training and providing the love and attention she deserves.
