Story
Hi, I'm Nova! When I first came to the shelter with my brother, Kumar, everyone thought I was going to stay tiny because I was the runt of the litter. Well... surprise! I've grown into a pretty tall girl, and I may even have a little more growing to do. Even though I'm bigger now, I still have the same playful, spunky personality that everyone loves. I'm an incredibly smart puppy who loves learning new things. I completed a full puppy training course at Puppy Luv, where I learned so many commands! I already know sit, wait, place, paw, down, and more. I'm always eager to learn, especially if treats and praise are involved. I'm still working on my leash manners because I can get so excited that I pull a little, but with consistency and practice, I'm improving every day. One of my favorite things in the world is spending time with my people. I absolutely love cuddling, soaking up lots of pets, and meeting new friends. I'm a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be included in whatever you're doing. I've also been making lots of dog friends here at the shelter! I really enjoy the company of other dogs and would love a canine companion to play with. I even like cats, so I could be a great fit for a home with feline friends too. I'm spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Story
Hi there! I’m a lovable, energetic girl with a huge zest for life and an even bigger heart. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be part of every adventure, I'm ready to sign up! I have a lot of energy and absolutely love being outside. I could spend hours running, playing, exploring, and sniffing everything there is to discover. Because of my active nature, I would thrive in a home with an acreage or a large, securely fenced yard where I can safely stretch my legs and burn off some of my endless energy. Daily exercise, enrichment, and activities are a must to help keep me happy and fulfilled. When I'm not busy zooming around, I'm a sweet girl who enjoys spending time with my people and curling up for some well-earned cuddles. I get along well with most other dogs, although I can come on a little strong during introductions because I'm so excited to make new friends. Cats are very interesting to me, so I would do best with slow introductions to a dog-savvy cat and supervision while we learn how to live together. I can be a little unsure around some men when we first meet. I do best with people who are patient and willing to let me approach at my own pace. Once I realize you're kind and trustworthy, I warm up nicely and enjoy forming strong bonds with my people. I come spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, and I'm ready to find my forever family. Could that be you? ❤️🐾

Story
Hi! My name is Nixie I’m a social butterfly looking for a furever home to call my own. I had a rough start when I was found wandering on my own. My skin was in bad shape and my coat was struggling, but thankfully the kind people who found me took me in, gave me time to heal, and helped me become the happy girl I am today. I love other dogs and enjoy making new friends! I've spent time around cats and I do like them! They can make me a little nervous when I first meet them, so I appreciate slow, proper introductions. Once I get comfortable, though, my herding instincts start to show, and I've been known to try herding my feline friends around the house! Because of this, I'd do best with confident, dog-savvy cats who won't be bothered by my playful attempts to keep everyone in line. I’m the perfect size for road trips, adventures, or just hanging out by your side if that’s your kind of thing. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped — ready to find my forever family. Stop by the shelter and come meet me… I’d love to be your new best friend!

Story
I’m a handsome, lovable guy with a big heart and an even bigger cuddle side. I absolutely love getting attention from my people and will happily soak up all the pets and snuggles you can give. I’ll be honest — I can be a little stubborn sometimes, but that’s just part of my charm. I already know my basic commands and I’ve been working hard on my leash manners. I can still be pretty strong on leash at times, so I’ll need someone who can continue helping me with my training and keep me on the right track. I can also be a bit selective with other dogs, though I’ve shown that I tend to do better with female dogs. Because of that, slow introductions and understanding my boundaries are important for me to feel comfortable and confident. I also have some dental issues that require surgery to help get my mouth feeling its best. The wonderful team at the shelter is working hard to raise funds so I can receive the dental care I need. Despite this, I never let it stop me from being my happy, affectionate self, and I can't wait to feel even better once my treatment is complete. Oh, and one more thing… I’ve been known to be a little bit of an escape artist! I’m a smart boy who likes to explore, so I’ll need a secure yard and a family who will keep a close eye on me. I’m up to date on all my vaccines, neutered, and microchipped, so I’m ready to pack my bags and meet my new best friend.

Story
I’m what they call a gentle giant, and honestly, I think that fits me pretty well. I’ve got a big heart to match my big size, and my absolute favorite thing in the world is being close to my humans. If you’ve got love to give, I’m already yours. One of my specialties? Rolling right over onto my back so you can give me all the tummy scratches. I take my belly rubs very seriously—they’re kind of my love language. When I first arrived at the shelter, I really wasn't comfortable around other dogs. Thanks to lots of time, patience, and carefully managed introductions, I've made some amazing progress! I've successfully met a few of the other dogs here, and those introductions have gone really well. Because of that, we've learned that I'm dog selective. I can do well with some dogs, but I'm still not the biggest fan of every dog I meet, so any potential canine companion would need a proper meet-and-greet to make sure we're a good match. I've also been introduced to cats, and I didn't seem to mind them at all! As with any new furry friend, slow and proper introductions will help set everyone up for success, but I may do well in a home with a cat. I am neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Now all I need is a forever family to share my love, my goofy personality, and plenty of belly rubs with!
