Story
Yep, Gloria is giving all you people the stink eye. Why? She thinks nobody wants her because she happens to be 18 years old. But Gloria figures if senior citizens aren't too old to run for President, then they're not too old to be adopted. Sure, the vision and hearing aren't quite what they used to be, but she sees well enough to find a sunny spot in which to bask and to do a happy dance when you bring out the leash, meaning it's time for a walk. Plus, your fingers will love getting lost in her silky soft fur, and your lap will appreciate that she maintains a fit weight of 11lbs. by eating her prescription kidney diet food. She also takes arthritis medication daily to help guarantee that she'll continue enjoying those walks and the occasional car ride to nowhere in particular that she loves so much. Together both prescriptions cost about $50/month, and when you see how much she enjoy's life's small pleasures, you'll know it's worth every penny.   Gloria is reliably house-trained as long as you can take her out when she needs to go, a need which may occur in the middle of the night. Let's get rid of Gloria's stink-eye, and get this gal adopted. See more photos of Gloria at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/goldiegloria .   NOTE: Adopters should live close enough to Denham Springs, Louisiana, to make multiple visits in order to ease the transition to a new home. Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. June 23, 2024, 5:10 pm

Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  June 24, 2024, 11:15 am

Story
Introducing Sadie!  Sadie is a cuddle bug that is 9 years old.  She's a beautiful liver and white female brittany, weighing about 37 pounds. Sadie loves the freedom to run without a leash and run the fence perimeter.  She would love to chase rabbits and squirrels.  She walks fairly well on a lead or harness, but is still a big puller.   A physical fenced yard is a must for her, as she needs space to run.   She is very loyal and watches over her person.  She loves chew toys.  She is ok with other dogs as long as they don’t rush to her face.  Sadie would do best as an only dog Sadie is housebroken and low maintenance. She prefers to stay home, with a comfy dog bed. She likes to be petted and have space to run off her energy.  Sadie is heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped.  She doesn't mind getting bathed or towel dried. If  you are looking for a great family pet that likes to travel in the car, golf cart  or patrol the perimeter of the fenced yard / property she is your girl.  She will keep the bunnies and squirrels from eating your flowers and shrubs on your fenced property.  She will need a four-to-five-foot fence.  Sadie loves being outside with her people but enjoys the comfort of dog beds and bed pillows to grab a nap in between bird watching out the window and running outside. Please consider opening your heart and home to Sadie! She has been searching for her forever home for a long time and she deserves to have her very own family!   Sadie's adoption fee is $350.  Please complete an adoption application at www.nbran.org and specify her name.  She is currently located in northwestern Georgia  and is available to be transported up to 1400 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles approximately.   If you are interested in giving Sadie her forever home, please reach out to LeslieTrenta leslie@leslietrentadesigns.com     June 24, 2024, 11:15 am

Story
**Courtesy Post** Say hi to Goose! Here is a little 3 year old fun loving guy. He is ready for any type of activity. His new owner needs to be an energetic person who will keep him exercised, stimulated, educated, happy, interested, and loved. He longs for someone who understands him and his terrier personality. Goose likes kids but he is a little much for them. Goose requires a home with no cats, no little critters such as hamsters, bunnies, parakeets. Also, if you know Jacks, you know that they like to bark! Goose has a lot to say! He wants to make sure you are informed and protected! He’s neutered and very healthy. Goose needs a home with a securely fenced yard. No short chainlink. No electronic fencing. A home visit will be done before adoption. Hopefully his new owner will be home at least part of the time. He needs attention and training. If you are interested in “The Goose” please contact his owner at vic.hamilton01@gmail.com and they will email you an adoption application. There is a small rehoming fee.

Story
Meet Hunter Lee: Your Loyal and Loving Companion! Hello there! Hunter Lee here, ready to charm my way into your heart and home. I’m a 3 ½-year-old, 38 lb, liver and white Brittany with a heart as big as my love for life. While my name suggests I might be a hunter, my real talent lies in spotting those sneaky birds and squirrels and keeping them in line. Because of my keen eye, I need a 6-foot privacy fence to ensure I can patrol safely. Why I’m Your Perfect Match: Healthy and Handsome: I’m neutered, housebroken, and up-to-date on all my vaccines. Plus, I’m heartworm and tick negative and on prevention. Friendly and Fun: I get along great with dogs and kids and basically love everyone I meet. Affectionate: I love being super close to my humans. I’ll make sure you know just how much I adore you with every cuddle and wag of my tail. My Dream Home: A Secure Yard: With a 6-foot privacy fence (No Chain-link), I’ll have the perfect space to keep an eye on those pesky critters and play safely. A Loving Family: I’m looking for a forever home where I’ll be loved, cuddled, and spoiled rotten. I promise to return every bit of love you give me tenfold. From My Heart to Yours: I’m more than just a pretty face—I’m a loyal friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, snuggling on the couch, or just being your constant companion, I’m ready to fill your life with joy and love. If you’re ready for a handsome, loving, and fun-filled addition to your family, look no further. I’m Hunter Lee, and I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventure together! The adoption fee for OK/Hunter Lee, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Hunter Lee part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Hunter Lee. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  June 24, 2024, 11:15 am

Story
Meet Cooper G: The Bundle of Joy and Energy! Hey there, future family! I’m Cooper G, a 2 yr old, 42.5 lb bundle of orange and white Brittany fun!  I’m a pro at bringing joy and laughter into any home. I’m neutered, up-to-date on all my shots, and ready to steal your heart! Why You’ll Love Me: Master of Fetch: Got a ball? Great! I’ll fetch it for you. No ball? No problem! I can entertain myself by tossing my squeaky toys in the air and catching them like a circus star! Fencing Expert: I need a physical fence or wrought iron at least 5 feet tall because, let’s face it, I can jump a 4-foot fence like an Olympic athlete. Chain-link fences? I’ll just climb over those! Crate Trained and Housebroken: I’ve got my manners down. I know where to go and where not to go, if you catch my drift. Health Nut: I’m up-to-date on all my vaccinations, heartworm and tick-free, and on prevention. I’m a healthy boy ready for adventures! A Day in the Life of Cooper G: Start the day with a wagging tail and a big, goofy grin. Fetch, fetch, fetch! I love to play, and I promise to bring the ball back...most of the time. Squeaky toys are my jam. I’ll run around with them, toss them, and maybe even let you have a turn! Nap time is serious business. I need my beauty rest to maintain my charming looks and playful energy. End the day with some cuddles and affection. I’m a lover, not a barker. From My Foster Mom: “Cooper G is the sweetest, most loving pup you’ll ever meet. He’s amazing with other dogs and everyone he meets. He’s an independent player but loves to engage in a good game of fetch. Rarely barks, and always ready for fun!”  If I didn't travel so much, I would adopt him in a heartbeat. So, what do you say? Ready to add a dash of fun, a sprinkle of laughter, and a whole lot of love to your life? That’s me, Cooper G! Let’s make some unforgettable memories together! The adoption fee for TX/Cooper G, who lives in Round Rock, TX  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Cooper G part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Cooper G.
