Story
Roxie is a sweet, fun-loving dog with a friendly, easy-going nature. She loves to play, spend time with loved ones and cuddle. She is a 2 years old Golden Retriever mix. She was purchased from a breeder. She spent the first year of her life in New York City and moved to Louisiana, where she enjoys ample space and natural surroundings. We’re looking for a loving home for Roxie, where she can receive the attention and time she deserves. We have a newborn baby and sadly are in need of re- homing Roxie.

Story
Hello! We are in an unfortunate situation to where we have to rehome our sweet boy :( He is a Great Pyrenees mixed with a Karakachan (Bulgarian Shepherd). He would be perfect for a farm or any house with a big backyard. He is crate trained. He is a very sweet, cuddly boy and very goofy. He will definitely put a smile on your face:) When he was a puppy we did bring him to the dog park a lot and he did great with other dogs, but as he got older he didn’t get along with dogs his size or bigger. So far, he has been around a few small dogs and he loves playing with a small size dog. If you have a small dog, we could arrange a meet up somewhere to see if they get along! He has not been introduced to cats. The only kids he has been around are my two nephews who are ages 8 &10 and he does play well with them! We love him very much and just want to make sure he goes to a very loving home. If interested, please reach out and if you have any questions I would be happy to answer!

Story
I may not be as young as some of the pups you see on New Rattitude's website, but don't count me out! I'm one of the most beautiful, and the proof is in the touch and feel of my silky smooth fur and my name(s). I'm officially Gloria, but my foster mom calls me Goldie, the name my original person gave to me. I've had 18 years' experience at being a doggy diva, and I'm not ready to retire. I weigh 11 lbs., and to keep me going strong in this gorgeous body, I eat a prescription diet (which I love!) for early kidney disease and take a special pill for arthritis. Together these two age-defying miracles cost about $50/month, but look at me! I'm worth it, don't you think?       My favorite things to do are to take short leash walks and to nap! When the leash comes out, I start to dance and sing! I love my little walks! I also love riding in the car; it doesn't have to be something special. Even a trip around the block is a delight.       I'm reliably house-trained as long as you can take me out when I need to go. Just be aware that we gals of a certain age don't always get a lot of advance notice. I'll usually need to get up once during the night to go out and get a drink of water. It comes with age, y'all.       This golden girl would live to spend her golden years with a human golden gal. A nice quiet home, no kids, maybe one other senior dog who doesn't try to jump on me. What a golden opportunity for you and me! You can see more of my beautiful self in my photo album at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/goldiegloria .   NOTE: Adopters should live close enough to Denham Springs, Louisiana, to make multiple visits in order to ease the transition to a new home. Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. April 12, 2024, 10:30 am

Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  April 13, 2024, 12:24 pm

Story
Introducing Sadie!  Sadie is a cuddle bug that is just about 9 years old.  She's a beautiful liver and white female brittany, weighing about 37 pounds. Sadie loves the freedom to run without a leash and run the fence perimeter.  She would love to chase rabbits and squirrels.  She walks fairly well on a lead or harness, but is still a big puller.   A physical fenced yard is a must for her, as she needs space to run.   She is very loyal and watches over her person.  She loves chew toys.  She is ok with other dogs as long as they don’t rush to her face.  Sadie would do best as an only dog.  Sadie is housebroken and low maintenance. She prefers to stay home, with a comfy dog bed. She likes to be petted and have space to run off her energy.  Sadie is heartworm negative, spayed, in good health and up to date on all vaccines. She is microchipped, her hearing and sight are very good.  She does have dry itchy skin and has been on Apoquel for six months.  She walks into the shower for her bath and gives you about 15 minutes to towel dry her. If you are looking for a great family pet that likes to travel in the car, golf cart  or patrol the perimeter of the fenced yard / property she is your girl.  She will keep the bunnies and squirrels from eating your flowers and shrubs on your fenced property.  She will need a four-to-five-foot fence.  Sadie loves being outside with her people but enjoys the comfort of dog beds and bed pillows to grab a nap in between bird watching out the window and running outside. Please consider opening your heart and home to Sadie!  Sadie's adoption fee is $350.  Please complete an adoption application at www.nbran.org and specify her name.  She is currently located in northwestern Georgia  and is available to be transported up to 1400 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles approximately.   If you are interested in giving Sadie her forever home, please reach out to Leslie Trenta @ leslie@leslietrentadesigns.com     April 13, 2024, 12:24 pm

Story
My name is Callie, and I really am a very sweet girl and would just love to find my forever home.  I am a 1 yr old liver/white 48 lb spayed Brittany girl with a beautiful tail.  If I don’t say so myself, I am told I am very beautiful.  I am utd on all vaccines.  HW/Tick neg and on HW and Flea/Tick prevention.  I am a healthy girl. I am housebroken, crate trained and great with dogs and kitties.  I am the biggest love bug ever and your forever friend.  I love all furbabies, I don’t hunt, I don’t counter surf, I don’t get in the trash or guard my food bowl.  Now tell me that I really am a very good girl.   You can see me running in the video with all my foster siblings.  I really have a best bud named Hoss, he and I like to play all the time.  I am looking for a young to middle aged male furbaby to have as a brother to play with.  That is one of my biggest wishes.  One of my best friends is a kitty, and we play and snuggle.  I need a physical fenced in yard to dash, run, and play.  Older kids would be best.  Food, treats, love, toys, petting me and a place on the couch with you, I will be the happiest girl ever.  I will make the most loyal friend ever. The adoption fee for AR/Callie, who lives in Mountain View, AR  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making AR/Callie part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Callie.  Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.April 13, 2024, 12:24 pm
