Story
Very sweet, easy to get along with girl. She has a high drive to please and loves people, dogs, cats, and kids. She’s about 9 months old, comes with a wellness plan already paid for, just needs to be spayed. Recently moved and cannot keep her due to not having an adequate yard. Completely up to date on vetting and heartworm/flea prevention. Would do best with a family that has a fenced yard. She’s not currently spayed due to her breed but will be before rehoming. Please contact me for more pictures, information, or to meet her!

Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  April 24, 2024, 8:30 am

Story
If you are looking for the most wonderful boy in the world, look no farther.  My name is Wesley and I am one very happy handsome boy.  I am  a Brittany/Collie mix, 15 mths old and almost 50  lbs of fun-loving puppy.  I am  utd on my vaccines, hw/tick neg and on hw/flea prevention.  I am neutered, crate trained,  microchipped, and housebroken.  My wish list is a nice big physical fenced in yard with another 4-legged playmate to run and tussle with.   To have a loving family that will throw my ball and play with me and spoil me.  I may be a big boy, but I do want to be in your lap or beside you watching tv.  I love balls,  treats, toys, bones and all kinds of fun things.  If I sound like the boy for you, please fill out that adoption application, so I can find my forever home.  The adoption fee for TX/Wesley, who lives in Sanger, TX  is $325,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Wesley part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Wesley. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.April 24, 2024, 8:30 am

Story
Hello!  Allow me to introduce myself, Hunter Lee here.  I don’t like to brag but I am 3 ½ yrs old and 38 lbs of solid handsome liver/white Brittany.  My name might mean I am a hunter, but I know for sure that I can spot those sneaky birds and squirrels and keep them in line.  Because of them I need a 6 foot privacy fence.   I am a healthy boy who is neutered, housebroken, and am utd on vaccines, plus I am HW and tick negative and on prevention. I know my forever home is out there waiting for me and that I will be loved, cuddled, and spoiled rotten! I get along with dogs, kids, and love everyone. I want to be super close to my human(s), ‘cause I need to make sure you know how much I love you! The adoption fee for OK/Hunter Lee, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Hunter Lee part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Hunter Lee. Story
Buddy is a sweet, but very shy liver and white 3 1/2 year old brittany. It takes a while for him to warm up to someone, but once he does, he is kind and affectionate. The best home for Buddy would be a patient home that has experience with bringing a shy, tramatized dog out of his shell.  Buddy is submissive and just needs a lot of love and reassurance.  His confidence has grown in the last few months, but he still has a way to go. Having a safe place is important. He likes to sleep in his crate with the door open, and is getting used to being in a closed crate when his people are away. Buddy is learning to play and play is an essential part of his ongoing training. He also requires a lot of exercise to build his physical and emotional state, so a yard is necessary for Buddy. He loves to be outside and a kiddie pool is his favorite in summer.  An older, calmer dog would be best, if there is another dog in the home. Buddy doesn't choose to interact until he feels entirely comfortable.  Buddy is very low energy. His requirements are small, a safe place, patience, play, and exercise. With these, he will continue to improve and soon become a normally adjusted dog and a wonderful addition to a family.  Please consider adopting Buddy. He's healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives and microchipped. He weighs 32 pounds and is located in NW Georgia. Buddy can be transported up to 1400 miles to his new home, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles. His adoption fee is $400. Please submit an adoption application at www.nbran.org and mention his name if you are interested in adopting him.  For any questions, please email Karen Carr at kecarr72@icloud.com or Jessica Stevenson at  jessica@thesouthernway.com April 24, 2024, 8:30 am
