Pumpkin was seized as a cruelty case after living on the streets with her 5 precious puppies. 🐾 Her former "owner" was captured on video violently punching, dragging, kicking, and throwing her to the ground. This 50lb girl must have been terrified, with no way to defend herself. 😔 Despite this horrific abuse, she was actively nursing 5 tiny lives! She was an amazing momma, doing her absolute best to keep them safe. When rescuers went to collect her, it took an additional day just to find where she had hidden her babies to protect them. 🛡️🐶 🏥 The Road to Recovery At the shelter, Pumpkin was understandably scared and protective. She had only ever known pain and neglect. Once her puppies were weaned and found homes, Pumpkin became at risk of euthanization because her fearfulness made her "unadoptable" in a shelter setting. We knew we couldn't leave her there. 🙅‍♀️✨ 🎾 Pumpkin Today: A Total Transformation!
