Lea is a 10-month-old Lab mix. She has a beautiful white coat with golden highlights and a beautiful smile!! Lea came from the local shelter and hasn't known much love in her life. She loves everyone and everything. She is great with other dogs and is playful. Her most favorite thing in the world is the kiddie pool! Lea will need a family willing to be patient with her at first and help her understand that she is in a safe place. Lea is truly a doll! Don't overlook this girl! ADOPT CHINA! China needs a home!! China is a special needs girl. She has been diagnosed with megaesophagus. This simply means she is unable to swallow food normally like the average dog. It appears to be a mild case. She can tolerate small meals, blended food, eating wet food from a spoon or using a slow feeder. Medication helps to keep the regurgitation down. She is otherwise a happy and healthy dog. China is just shy of 3 years old and approximately 70 lbs. She is good with other dogs and cats. House-trained. Rarely barks. Enjoys the outdoors and playing in water. Her nickname is 'Smiley' because she is so happy. Rescuing a dog that truly NEEDS you is the most rewarding thing. Please share and help find China a home. Adoption fee is reduced to $50. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention and flea/tick free. Apply to adopt at www.arlorescue.com. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and a solid vet reference.
