Story
Benji is such a sweet, smart dog but unfortunately is not doing well with our 9 month old baby. We’ve done lots of training with him and regrettably isn’t coping with a baby in the house. We are very sad to have to rehome him, but he is not safe to have around. He loves to play fetch in the backyard and go for walks. He also loves to be lazy and relax close by you. He’s not a cuddly dog and prefers his space, but once in a while will jump up and lay with me on the couch. He knows his basic commands, leash trained, kennel trained, and sleeps in his own bed. Will do great with a family who doesn’t have young kids, and probably no other dogs. He goes to daycare and is good with other dogs, but it’s hard for him to relax if there’s other dogs around. Maybe that would change after a while though!

Story
Meet Zeus 🐾Zeus is a 5-year-old Pit Bull/Lab mix with a huge heart and a lot of love to give. He is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. He enjoys spending time with his humans, getting attention, and being part of the family. Zeus would do best with an experienced owner who understands large, strong dogs and can provide the structure, consistency, and time he needs to thrive. He has some behavioral challenges and will need patience and ongoing guidance, so his new home should be prepared to work with his specific needs. Despite his challenges, Zeus is a loving companion who deserves a home where he can receive the attention, training, and support needed to help him succeed. This decision is being made out of love and a desire to find the best possible match for him.

Story
We adopted Biscuit when he was 8 weeka old after falling instantly in love with him. He was a smart, quiet, and calm puppy. He was timid and weary of strangers. As a young puppy, he would hide under a couch, bed or closet when guests would come over. We worked to socialize him with guests of all ages, and get him used to seeing all kinds of people and things on walks in parks and in the neighborhood. We used positive reinforcement by giving kibble or a treat as he passed folks, bikes, joggers without reacting. As he got bigger and stronger, it seems so did his impulses to react around joggers and cyclists and sudden movements or excited children running. We continued positive reinforcement. We have a relative with severe allergies to dogs, and are unable to keep Biscuit long term. Biscuit is from both protective and herding breeds, and is very protective of his family and home including yard. While he takes time to warm up to new people, he is loyal to those he knows and loves.

Story
Archie is a very gentle and goofy Labrador, he is six months old and has all of his shots up-to-date. He has spent time in a bay area as well as going for walks on the sidewalk and he loves sniffing the flowers as we walk. I am concerned he will be home for too many hours over the day and our backyard is quite small. This is our first dog experience and with my workload it is a little too time-consuming for our family.

Meet HudsonHudson is a 7-month-old affectionate boy with a playful personality and a heart full of love. He enjoys spending time with his people, going for walks, exploring the yard, playing, and relaxing with cuddles. Hudson is very social with other dogs and is always excited to make a new canine friend.Hudson is a smart, well-trained boy who walks well on a leash and knows sit, stay, lie down, shake, and come. He is food-motivated, eager to learn, and thrives with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement.Hudson would flourish in a home where he can be part of the family’s daily life. Someone who works from home, is retired, or has plenty of time to spend with him would be a wonderful match for his affectionate, people-oriented personality.Hudson came into our lives unexpectedly and quickly became a cherished part of our family. Rehoming him has been heartbreaking, but our priority is finding a forever home where he will be loved, included, and cherished every day.
