Story
Meet Ben-G 🐾 Ben-G is a 5-year-old neutered medium mixed breed with so much love to give. He stands about mid thigh and weighs 32.1kg/70.62lbs. He’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people and just wants to be close to his humans. Ben-G is good with other dogs, cats, and kids—but he does have a bit of a jealous streak when it comes to sharing his favourite people. He just loves his humans that much. His story is a unique one. Ben-G started out as a foster, and when the rescue he came from wasn’t moving forward with finding him a home, his foster family stepped up and adopted him. Recently, his life has changed again as his family has had to move into town and are not able to take him. He’s missing his family and the acreage life he once knew. Because of that, he’s feeling a little anxious and unsure right now. Ben-G will need a patient and understanding family who can give him the time and support he needs to settle in and feel safe again. With a little consistency and a lot of love, we know he will blossom into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Ben-G’s adoption fee is $300. He is neutered, started on his vaccination schedule, and microchipped. If you think you could be the one to help Ben-G find his footing and his forever home, head to www.mjhs.ca → Adopt → Adoptable Animals and submit your application. Ben-G is ready to love deeply again—he just needs someone to show him he’s finally home. 💙

Story
Missy was adopted from the SPCA in January of 2026. Moving from a house with a yard to an apartment, she needs a new home with a yard to play in. She is very smart, shy, and listens good. Once she is comfortable with you, she is a snuggler. She would be happy with a dog friend. She needs a bit more leash work. She is mostly potty trained. She is a good girl and makes a loyal pet.

Story
Pal might not go looking for trouble—but somehow, he still manages to find it just enough to keep things interesting! Don’t let that fool you, though—this sweet, stubborn, and friendly pup is all about making friends. Whether he’s happily chasing the resident dog around the yard or bravely trying (again and again!) to win over the less-impressed cats, Pal’s enthusiasm for friendship never fades. He’s a social guy who would thrive in a home where he can meet new people and animal companions. If you’re looking for a playful, lovable pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Pal just might be your guy!

Story
Her name means “she bear,” and while this fluffy pup may sound fierce with her little growls at her siblings, it’s all talk. At heart, she’s a total snuggle bug, making soft grunting noises as she burrows into your arm to get comfy. She’s not lazy, though—she loves a good day of play before settling in for cuddles. Whether you need a cozy companion to lift your spirits or a walking buddy to help you clear your head, she’ll be right there: a gentle, sweet puppy.

Story
This mellow fellow loves attention, sitting quietly away from his siblings, waiting for you to pet him. If you go on a walk he will follow along until he gets tired and then he will sit and wait until you scratch his silky ears and scoop him up. He doesn’t start any roughhousing, but he happily runs around with his siblings. This easygoing pup will adjust quickly to all routines and lifestyles, provided there is lots of playtime!
