Story
Meet Bruno! Bruno is a 5-month-old German Shepherd with a big body and even bigger personality! At 53 lbs already, this handsome boy is expected to weigh 70-90 lbs. He is still receiving vaccines and is not ready yet to be neutered. Bruno came to us as a surrender due to time management. Now he's looking for a committed home that's ready for all the fun that comes with raising a smart, active pup. And fun is Bruno's specialty! He LOVES to play and romp around with his people. He has major puppy energy and a hilarious obsession with squeaky toys. Toss one his way and you'll instantly have his full attention. Bruno is incredibly eager to please and already knows "sit." Treats are the way to his heart—he's very food-motivated. (Sometimes a little too motivated.) We're currently working on teaching him to taste his food instead of inhaling it! Like any growing pup, Bruno is still learning. He's working on potty training and can sometimes pee nervously or excitedly. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he's got the potential to master his training. He's also in his chewing phase; if he gives a little nibble, it's his way of saying, "Let's play!" Bruno is a bright, affectionate, and spirited pup who just needs guidance and structure! With the right family committed to training, exercise, and love, this smart boy will absolutely grow into the goodest boy he can be.

Good with dogs,
Story
Hi, I’m Flight. I’m a very nervous boy, and I’m still trying to understand that I’m finally safe. Before coming to the shelter, I spent multiple months living at large on my own. I had to fend for myself out there, and because of that, new people and unfamiliar places can feel really scary for me right now. I’m not used to the comforts of home life yet, and I’m going to need someone who is extremely patient, calm, and understanding as I learn to trust. I may take a long time to feel comfortable, but with gentle support and a quiet environment, I know I can make progress. What I need most is a person who will go at my pace and give me the time and space to feel secure. If you have a big heart and the patience to help a timid dog learn what love and safety truly mean, I might be the one for you. Love, Flight

Story
My name is Jasper and I am a 5 year old border collie mix. I am neutered and up to date on vaccines. My life changed when a baby was added to the family and I am not getting the attention and exercise that I am needing. I have a bit of separation anxiety, but once I get used to a new routine then I will calm down. I am happy to play with big dogs only. No puppies or smaller breed dogs as they don’t give me the personal space that I need. I have a cat sister and do well with her. I would like to find a family who lives an active lifestyle and doesn’t have young children. If this fits what you are looking for then let us know!
