Story
Harley is a beloved pet that I acquired through a relationship that has since dissolved. She was our only dog for about a year and then we got a second dog that she has lived with for about 6 years. I received a promotion at work that will require me to relocate and travel regularly. I don’t want Harley miss any of the love and attention she deserves so I believe I need to let her go.. She is incredibly smart, affectionate, playful, loves people, and loves to be the center of attention. I think she would do best in a single dog home so she can get all of her owner’s attention but that’s not a deal breaker. She will probably need a yard. I go on walks with her daily and play fetch or tug of war. She loves water and taking a bath but hasn’t quite mastered treading water. She can sometimes have severe reactions to mosquito bites, especially on her ears. Overall she’s a huge cuddle bug who exudes love.

I received a promotion at work that will require me to relocate and travel regularly. I don’t want Sage miss any of the love and attention she deserves so I believe I need to let her go.. She is incredibly affectionate, playful, loves people, and naps in the bed. She will probably need a yard with a fence. She is an escape artist and will bolt if she sees people or other animals. She loves go on walks daily and sunbath. She absolutely hates water and taking a bath. Overall she’s a huge cuddle bug who exudes love that I would characterize as low-medium energy.

Story
Kia is her name. She is two years old, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. She is also on medication for fleas, heartworms, and ticks. Kia is very sweet and people-friendly. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but her behavior around cats is unknown. She has a predatory drive, as evidenced by her love of chasing squirrels, and is not food aggressive, although she does resource guard her bowl. I am willing to drive to a neighboring state to find her a suitable home. I would keep her, but I can’t have her resource guarding with the kids who love to play in everything. I’ve been told that this breed needs someone who knows how to handle them.

Story
I rescued Capone when he was two months old. He was hit by a car in the Beaumont area but sustained no injuries! Capone is a high energy, fun loving dog who has gotten along with every dog and person he has met. Capone has stayed at doggy daycares and does very well when he is getting a bath, getting groomed, doing his nails, etc. Capone is potty trained and crate trained. I have worked very hard to get him at that point. He loves being around people and playing. He would love you too!

Labrador Retriever Whippet

Female, Adult
Port Arthur, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sarah Elizabeth (she responds to Lizzie) needs a loving and supportive home to help with her anxiety (she has severe anxiety and possibly PTSD from her previous owner but we do not know the full story since we weren’t told a full disclosure). She is SUPER playful with other dogs and cats (we typically don’t have her interacting with cats though). We do not know how she interacts with kids since we don’t have kids nor interact with kids. She does have severe anxiety as mentioned so she gets scared of unexpected things or sounds m. But she’s very sweet, gentle and doesn’t bite. She’s house trained and knows a bit of sign language (Sit, cage, outside, and bed) along of course with vocal commands. She LOVES going outside on walks, to the park, or even car rides. She also loves to cuddle on the couch with someone.
