Cash🐾 The last few years has come with many changes within his home environment and we are no longer able to provide him the stability he needs! He requires a secure, fenced yard with space to run and would probably do best as the only pet in the home. He thrives with structure, consistency, and an owner who understands and can manage his protective tendencies. He is very affectionate with his people and enjoys being a close companion! While loyal and loving, he can become protective or show aggression around his family, toys, or possessions, so he needs a patient, responsible owner committed to training, supervision, and safety.

Story

I adopted Pax in July of 2020 as a 1 year old. I moved 2 years ago an could not take Pax with me. He has been in the care of my mom since then. My mom recently passed away and I am still not able to take care of Pax where I live. Pax is around 7 years old and has a very laid back personality. Over the years of having female owners, Pax while being very sweet has become very protective of his home. He loves going out to meet others, but takes time for him to warm up to others when they come to him. Pax loves to be outside and take long naps on the cool floor. He loves to run and to be chased. Pax gets along with most other dogs and can adjust to inside cats. He is pretty independent but loves to cuddle in the morning. He makes a great companion and is a great alert dog. Pax does not need a lot, just basic needs and some attention occasionally each day. He is a very down to earth and a very sweet boy.

I adopted Khloe from the Humane Society when she was around 5 years old, and she has been a loved and cherished part of my family ever since. Unfortunately, due to medical circumstances I am currently dealing with, I can no longer give Khloe the care and attention she deserves.🐶 10 years old, Spayed, Up to date on vaccinations, Microchipped with paid subscription for the year (2027), Crate trained, Still has plenty of energy and acts much younger than her age, Great with children & babies. Doesn’t like to be picked up. She’s awkward at times. Does well with other dogs, however, I recently learned she is territorial and will snap at dogs when she doesn’t want to be bothered or if they lay in the spot she has claimed. She does prefer that other dogs leave her alone when she’s sleeping. Klo has plenty of life and personality in her! She loves being part of the family. She would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal dog who can enjoy playtime and relaxation time.

We got Kiera 2ish yrs ago. For the first yr, she did fine with all 3 of my dogs…all around her size/little bigger, males & females. 8 mths ago, she initiated a fight with 1 our other dogs. We gave it about 2 wks to let things cool down. Tried them again out in the yard, everything was fine until Kiera went up to the same one she fought with…Kiera sniffed her, the other growled & they fought again. I brought her to the vet to make sure nothing is wrong. I work 6 days a wk & out of town 3-4 nts a wk. I don’t trust my teenage child or mom in her 60s to potentially break up a fight. So sadly she’s has to go out alone & spend most of her time in a crate. She is (rightfully) depressed & I’m hoping to rehome her. She’s 45lbs, spayed, potty trained, crate trained, & food/treat motivated. I do let her out on a cable, my fence is only 4 ft. She is approx 3 yrs old. Never been out loose around cats or small kids, but acts fine when by her crate. Would probably do best with her as an only pet.

Dozer was adopted by my mom in November of 2020 as a puppy. My mom recently passed away and I can not keep Dozer where I live so we are looking for a loving home for him. He is almost 6 years old and is a lover of chest scratches and naps. He currently lives with another dog we are also trying to rehome and they get along great. He can get along with other animals but needs some time to warm up to them. Dozer can be very protective especially around new people and animals, but he gets along great with anyone once he begins to trust them. Dozer loves chewing on his toys and running outside. He did have a broken leg when he was found as a puppy and occasionally limps but not for long. He wants to be close to his owner and is a very sweet boy. He will need to be kenneled when left alone by the new owner since he gets anxious and chews on fabric if left for too long. Dozer is a sweet boy who has a few quirks like all of us, but makes a great companion and cuddle buddy.
