Story
Little Bit is a 10-year-old spayed female pit and Lab mix, but small for both breeds, weighing in at only about 40 pounds. She is very loving to people, except she has never been around children. She does not like cats at all, and, if paired with another dog, likes males and dislikes females. She is current on vaccinations and is on Heartgard; occasionally she will need allergy medicine as she has sensitive skin. Her owner has developed significant health issues and is unable to properly care for her. Little Bit would love to find a family to spend the rest of her golden years with!

Story
Caroline is approximately 12 years old and was found wandering the streets on July 4, 2015. She loves people and is very affectionate, but doesn't get along with all dogs, and has never been around children. She is a low-maintenance outdoor dog and would probably do best as an only pet. Some degree of physical strength is required to handle her, as she is strong and pulls on her leash when she has one attached. Her owner is facing possible serious illness, and wants her to have a loving home to live out the rest of her senior age with the care she deserves.

Story
Jackson was adopted as a stray in southeast Texas. He is roughly 10 to 12 years old, is neutered, and is on Heartgard. He loves adult people, but has never been around children. He can be territorial when a stranger approaches a fence, door or window, but face-to-face with a person, he is affectionate and likes to hug. He is okay with female dogs, but not with other males. Sadly, his owner is in declining health and cannot care for him properly. He would love for Jackson to have a great home to live out the remainder of his life.
