Story
Butters has been in our care for about two weeks after our elderly neighbor had to move into a nursing home, leaving him without a home. He's adjusted beautifully and has quickly shown what a loving, playful boy he is. Butters is a 3-year-old purebred Boston Terrier, kennel and house trained, and always ready to play or be by your side. He gets along great with other dogs and cats and has been nothing but sweet and affectionate. We would absolutely love to keep him, but with an upcoming move and limited space, we know he deserves a home where he has more room to run, play, and thrive. He's energetic, social, and would do best with someone who can give him the space and attention he deserves. Butters has already been through a big change, and we want to make sure his next home is his forever one. If you're looking for a fun, loving companion and think Butters might be a good fit for your family, please reach out.

Sundae

Labrador Retriever Retriever (Unknown Type)

Nederland, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sundae is such a LOVING puppy, all she wants is to snuggle and to be loved on. We were shocked to see her use the doggie door on the first try and she has not had one accident at our house. She is very smart and already learning some basic commands. We have a senior German Shorthaired Pointer, and Sundae wants to be a puppy around her and so the mix of both dogs doesn't work for us right now. Sundae will thrive in a home where she can be active and she will do fine most likely with another dog that is not as old as ours. She is current on all shots, spayed, microchipped....all she needs is a loving home. The vet says she won't get more than 40 pounds, she is a small/medium dog, so she doesn't need a huge yard or home, just a loving one.

Story
We have had Valentine for three years. She is playful and loving. She loves attention and isn’t afraid to ask for it. She is a couch buddy. She is 35lbs a very medium sized dog. We made the difficult decision to rehome her after she snapped at our ducks. We are looking for a loving home with at least one small to medium dog because she has lots of energy and is very social.

Story
We are currently fostering my stepmother’s 3 dogs as she has been admitted to memory care along with my father. Angel is a dachshund/corgi mix. She is approximately 8 years old. She has doe eyes, is very sweet, and will give you good companionship. She is a quiet observer, but will also let you know if something is awry outside. She is obedient and house-trained. She is very protective of other animals. She is good around cats and livestock. We have cats, a ducks and pigs, as well as other small dogs. Angel was a runner and would benefit from a good fence and gate. Since living with us, we have seen a positive change in this behavior, but will need the protection for this transition. She needs a home with lots of attention. She often has difficulty with transitions and stops eating. We have found some tricks to help and she has regained the weight lost from the transition during fostering. She really is a sweet dog.

Story
Bella loves everyone. She loves to play, and is extremely smart. I don’t have a lot of time for her anymore due to my overnight work schedule. She deserves someone who has more time for her, and more room. I hate to let her go, but I feel she needs someone who has time and space for her.
