Port Arthur, TX
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
Butters has been in our care for about two weeks after our elderly neighbor had to move into a nursing home, leaving him without a home. He's adjusted beautifully and has quickly shown what a loving, playful boy he is. Butters is a 3-year-old purebred Boston Terrier, kennel and house trained, and always ready to play or be by your side. He gets along great with other dogs and cats and has been nothing but sweet and affectionate. We would absolutely love to keep him, but with an upcoming move and limited space, we know he deserves a home where he has more room to run, play, and thrive. He's energetic, social, and would do best with someone who can give him the space and attention he deserves. Butters has already been through a big change, and we want to make sure his next home is his forever one. If you're looking for a fun, loving companion and think Butters might be a good fit for your family, please reach out.

Sundae

Labrador Retriever Retriever (Unknown Type)

Female, Puppy
Nederland, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sundae is such a LOVING puppy, all she wants is to snuggle and to be loved on. We were shocked to see her use the doggie door on the first try and she has not had one accident at our house. She is very smart and already learning some basic commands. We have a senior German Shorthaired Pointer, and Sundae wants to be a puppy around her and so the mix of both dogs doesn't work for us right now. Sundae will thrive in a home where she can be active and she will do fine most likely with another dog that is not as old as ours. She is current on all shots, spayed, microchipped....all she needs is a loving home. The vet says she won't get more than 40 pounds, she is a small/medium dog, so she doesn't need a huge yard or home, just a loving one.

Story
Brinks has scars that appear to tell a story. We have no idea what caused them but whatever it was it had to hurt. Brinks however is a happy go lucky boy who left all that in the past where it belongs. Going forward Brinks loves life and everyone he meets. He is very smart and obedient and has shown over and over that he is a lover not a fighter. He is a energetic, young boy who definitely needs a playmate that matches his energy. We believe he might be a bit much for smaller dogs and requires dogs his size that don’t mind a in your face dog because our boy does not believe in any personal space when it comes to other dogs 🤪. He absolutely loves people and gives hugs when he wants to show his love ❤️. Brinks is crate trained and a quiet boy in his crate. He also does not have accidents in his crate as long as he gets out in a timely manner. He is around 1 year young and up to date on all his vaccines as well as microchipped and neutered. He received a six month Proheart injection to keep him HW negative. Brinks would love to find a home for the Holidays.

Story
This precious girl was adopted in 2017 and just returned due the adopter having another baby!! She is a large girl, but very gentle. Marsha LOVES children, is housebroken, walks well on a leash and is just close to being the perfect dog!! She is very sad, not being around kids and having to be in a crate, so she is really hoping for another home that will be FOREVER. Are you that family? Please submit an application to www.pupsinperil.org/adoption/

Story
"King is is a loving, affectionate senior dog looking for a calm and caring forever home. He has a gentle soul and forms strong bonds with the people he loves. He enjoys being close, soaking up affection, and spending quality time with his human. He still has a great zest for life and absolutely loves running, outdoor walks, and being surrounded by nature. He would be a perfect companion for someone who enjoys an outdoorsy lifestyle walks, trails, or simply spending time outside.King gets along well with cats and other animals, as well as female dogs. He may not do well with other male dogs, so he would be happiest as the only male dog in the home. He would thrive in a peaceful environment with someone patient and kind who understands the loyalty and love an older dog brings. In return, he’ll offer endless affection, companionship, and a devoted heart." If interested, please contact Courtney via Courtneyfitch02@gmail.com or (409) 350-8242
