Carson, the just shy of 2 year old, white Argentinian Dogo and Pit Mix with a heart as vast as his love for everyone. Deaf but undeterred, Carson embraces cats, dogs, big and small people with equal affection. Rescued from a dire fate on a euthanasia list, he's a graduate of Goldstar Academy, exhibiting perfect behavior. This completely healthy, neutered male is not just a remarkable survivor; he's a funny, silly, and quirky companion, earning his title as the best dog ever. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sweet Pea needs a foster or foster to adopt in So Cal ASAP. She’s a 1 1/2 year old Dogo Argentino mix. She is very sweet dog. She does seem to be deaf or at least have selective hearing. She does need some time to adjust in a new home, but she loves people and seems non reactive with other dogs and cats. She can escape a fenced yard, so she will need to be kept inside unless you're outside with her. She's pretty good in a crate and we can provide one for a foster to use. She still needs to be spayed. That is included in her adoption. She loves the car and is pretty good on leash. Currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $400 includes spay/neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet.
